Positive: This property is one of the best properties I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The area is beautiful, the amenities are top notch. Every time I get the chance to come here, I always book it. There’s hardly any noise, the deer roam freely. It is well worth the price if you are there for more than a day.
Negative: The only downgrade I could think of is the lack of cooking apparatus to make food. Other than that, I cannot find any other reasons to not like it.

Positive: Great location and nice mountain and meadow views from the back part of the house. Provides reasonable access (easy 45 min drive) to Port Angeles and the primary Olympic National Park entry point as well as 30 minutes to Port Townsend and it's ferry, services etc. Home is well-equipped with pretty much everything to need to cook, clean, do laundry, watch TV/movies, there's some games and books available. Overall, aside from the cons included with this review, this is a nice location and good home to use as a jumping off point for many activities in the area especially for the price. While I don't think I'd repeat visit mostly due to some of those cons, the value is still there if the price meets your needs and perhaps issues with a few drips and spa chlorine aren't such a big deal (and I suppose the late hours mowing is not likely to repeat most of the time).
Negative: The spa is over-chlorinated to the point I think it borders on a safety risk.....a couple users in my party said they felt "gassed" by the fumes and even I felt that way at times keeping myself 1/4 out of the water. As such, recommend that be toned down.....the spa was a primary reason I chose this home and while we used it most nights, it wasn't the experience it could have been with less chlorine. The maintenance crew decided to mow in the evening 2 of our 5 nights--- why? There's all day when most people won't be there to do that, not at dusk when everyone is outside trying to relax. The AC units when turned on max tend to drip, especially the one in the kitchen. We mitigated that with bowls, towels and not cranking them so much but it was a bit of a hassle and over time that will wreck the wood floors. One night TWO people knocked on our door thinking the Innkeepers Lodge was just that and that we could assist them with checking in etc. so a sign stating private residence or the like might help with that. Finally, you CAN hear the highway from the home. Most vehicles you don't but there are some semis, motorcycles and the like which are audible inside and certainly on the back deck....though the nice thing is that this section of 1010 really rolls up after dark so you're not being bothered by that when sleeping in our experience. Overall---- honestly minus the overchlorinated spa this is probably a 9 and that minus the 2 nights of mowing I'd probably have given this a 10 even with the dripping AC as that's not a huge deal in the scheme of things....but as it was I can't go above an 8.
