Boaters, brides, tourists, and townspeople, can all enjoy this newly renovated historical venue. We are located onthe beginning of Main Street on the downtown strip of Buchanan, VA going north bound on Route 11. We are within walking distance to the James River, which is very popular for kayaking and tubing. We are also close to several hiking trails. Our home offers 4 bedrooms upstairs, each with its own private bathroom. It is perfect for large family get togethers. It has a newly renovated kitchen and a beautiful wrap around porch.

Summary: We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in your gorgeous, historic home! Our family of 10 fit perfectly here and we all felt instantly at home! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Spring and Chris were excellent hosts. They even went out and bought corn hole boards and ladder ball for the kids to play! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here! Thank you Spring and Chris! The Tuckers

Summary: The home and the town of Buchanan are lovely. The home is very spacious, and was perfect for our family of 12 over Thanksgiving weekend. Sadly though, we will not return. "Mistakes are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them." - Bruce Lee

Summary: We loved the house and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. Figuring out the lock system for the door was a little challenging but one of the host made sure to meet us to open the door and give us the grand tour of the house. Definitely would stay here again.

Summary: We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. Super cute and fun place to stay. After a very long day of driving everyone was able to shower and relax. The beds were comfortable and the coffee was delicious. We would stay again if we come through the area in the future!

Summary: I booked this property for a surprise party of about 10 people after a surprise engagement since it was close to where I proposed. The hosts were so generous and helpful throughout the entire process, including helping the group set up and were really attentive to any possible needs for the party. The property was absolutely perfect-Clean, beautiful, up to date...more than you could ever ask for in a venue. We were delighted with every part of this house. The hosts have put a lot of thought and effort into making this a wonderful house for large groups. The hosts and the property helped make this party an unforgettable experience and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Summary: Our family wanted a weekend away and this house provided everything and more! The house is even more amazing than the pictures show. The huge bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms were perfect. The beds were comfortable and the internet strong.. We had a fun family game night in the spacious great room. Our only glitch was check in. We didn't know that we would be sent a link to create an account on an app and needless to say we struggled with it. We had three families and only potential access through one phone which was problematic. The property owner was always available and happy to help.

Summary: House description was 5000 sq ft, but the biggest room was unfurnished & couldn't be used. We 10 adults were in LR with a sofa, love seat & a chair. With COVID it was hard to maintain distance. Adv said 7 bathrooms w/ one full bath downstairs but there were only 4.5 baths w/ only half bath downstairs for 4 people with no shower. Bunk beds were in a very small room with no attached bath, as stated in advertisement. It was under construction & closed off. Chris was very receptive to my concerns next day and I requested a discount for my very uncomfortable, sleepless night & no shower available for me. He said he will talk to his wife. Spring, who wrote to me that it was all in description. Well Soring where were 7 bathrooms that you listed. I saw no where in listing that biggest room has no furniture. Bunk room is very small & has just bunk beds and practically no space to walk, and no attached bath. We checked in 5:15 ish & was too late to find somewhere else to stay.. I wish the owners give us atleast half money paid to them for all the reasons I mentioned above. Vbro, please look into it and get us the refund. Thank you.
