Positive: An absolutely beautiful location and rustic, clean cabin! This cabin was more well-stocked than any other place we have stayed! Everything you may need is provided and there is attention to detail! You can tell the owners love this cabin and take exceptional care to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable! The location is PERFECT with the sound of the rambling creek water, chirping birds and nature all around. We loved the gigantic porch, the rockers and the firepit! We enjoyed the grill and picnic table, as well. Our younger teens loved the loft, and our oldest daughter said the master bed was extremely comfortable. We were there for her graduation from Liberty University, so we gave her the master bedroom! We also very much appreciated the washer and dryer and did all of our laundry on our last night!
Negative: Our only complaint was that the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, and my husband and I did not sleep well. The bar is just so hard. We realize most sofa beds are like this, though. Perhaps a mattress pad to put on top would help? We did not use the huge tub, but we had read in other reviews that the water heater does not hold enough capacity to fill the tub. This hindered us from attempting to use it. Other than that, we had no complaints!
Summary: AMAZING CABIN and LOCATION! We hope to return!

Positive: Loved the relaxing vibe and close proximity to the creek for fishing, and people in area were so helpful and friendly.
Negative: Could have internet but I do understand checking out. But a hot tub would be the ultimate ! ๐Ÿ˜

Negative: Cleaning fee is very high considering the cleanliness of the cabin when we arrived, and the departure tasks asked of the property.

Positive: It was beautiful and clean! Super unique and relaxing. The heat in the cabin was perfect. The kids loved their little loft. The tub. ๐Ÿ˜
Negative: NO SERVICE. We drove down to the coldesac like the host had suggested in the notes and still NOTHING. We had to drive 8 miles to the gas station in order to get service and we have Verizon. They definitely need to specify that there is absolutely no service in the area and to notify loved ones youโ€™ve made it safely before passing the gas station. Iโ€™m not mad that there wasnโ€™t any service. Iโ€™d just strongly suggest a clearer heads up! Also- The person who manages this property has a cake job! You get their contact info but good luck contacting them with no service. ๐Ÿคฃ

Positive: A charming cabin and a few days of being โ€œunplugged.โ€ The fire pit was a pretty popular spot.
Negative: There could be a few more hooks to hang clothes on in master bedroom and as huge coffee drinkers, the coffee pot was pretty frustrating.
Summary: Such a sweet, cozy cabin on the outskirts of Buchanan. We will definitely be coming back!
