Summary: We had a great time staying in this amazing house. The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room. The house is very spacious, so the 6 of us were able to spread out. It is situated on the edge of the village, so very quiet, and with great views over the countryside. The “swimming pool” is 2 metres wide and 0.5 metres deep – so more of a paddling pool really – but it’s lovely cooling your feet in it in the shade of a fig tree. The house is not entirely practical – eg the late-afternoon sun reflects blindingly off the shiny floor – and not everything works (part of the fun was locating which light switches are functional, and resetting the fuses when cooking with more than one ring caused the electricity to off), but these were minor issues, easily rectified, and added to the sense of occasion. David was lovely, and immediately responded to all queries; he even went out and bought extra glasses and mugs when he realised there weren’t enough for all of us. We loved living here and would come again.

Summary: The property is very well designed and very comfortable, well equipped and with large windows and AC. Some aspects need improvements (dish washer, some minor details). Only thing is that the lower level is a bit dark even during sunny days which would deserve to have more lights installed. Overall very good experience and good communication with the owner.

Summary: This was ideal with teens wanting their own rooms. It is an old house but designed inside with very modern features. All you need in terms of wifi, fridge/freezer and washing machine and dishwasher. Astounding views of the surrounding mountains especially from the top floor. David was very helpful for check in or any other questions, and Seva is well located for excursions. We recommend a visit to Vic and the Museum of religious art, to Olot and the Espai Crater actually inside a volcano. Walks include the castanyer de nou branques, the walk to castell taradell, and a wonderful drive up to Colm Folmic, follow direction El Brull. All are very close by car. The monastery Sant Pere de Casseres overlooks the lake area, with lovely views.

Summary: We just came back from the property, having spent 3 weeks there. The house is one of a kind, incredible design inside, gorgeous sunset and views from panoramic windows. Yes some aspects of design might not be up to everyone's liking but focusing on those things would miss the point of this house - book and enjoy it!

Summary: This property is well represented, however lighting, safety issues on stairs, and leaky showers that have to be constantly mopped take away from artistry and design. David was most helpful with suggestions for visits in the area, especially Besalú, oldest medieval town in Spain. Seva is a delightful area and very centrally located mountains to the sea.

Summary: First of all, David is an amazing host. He welcomed us very warmly and was there always to help out or give tips about local area. The house was simply amazing. Perfect sunset views to the mountains, much sunlight to enjoy at the terrace. And the building is simply astonishing. The whole architecture was beautiful, simple and design was everywhere. David told us that we were the last guests and it was about to be renovated, so can’t wait how amazing it will be in the next stage. If we find it possible, we will definitely be back. Thank You David, it was a pleasure. Oh And a quick restaurant tip: local Can Rafael was such a treat. Go there. It’s mandatory.

Summary: This house is beautiful. The conversion is sympathetic but very modern and comfortable. The views are amazing and great outdoor space. The town is quaint but has some nice shops and a good restaurant all within a short walk from the house. It is well located for exploring the region. David was a great host. We experienced significant delays in our journey but he was still happy to welcome us at the house late at night. He also responded very quickly to a couple of queries we had during our stay. My only comment would be that the house may not be suitable for young children but I think that is obvious from the photos. In saying that we have a two year old and it was fine as long as we supervised him on stairs and in garden. This wouldn’t put me off returning as the standard of the house and this location by far outweigh this small issue. I would highly recommend this house.

Summary: We highly recommend the villa in seva.iIt has a beautiful architecture,it is very modern and very comfortable.It is set in beautiful surroundings up in the green hills.The location is very quiet and relaxing.There are a few restaurants in the area serving the most delicious food I ever had in a Spain !the owner,David,is a lovely man.he is always there in a couple of minutes,only if you need him.We were on our honeymoon and he also waited for us with some traditional food and wine the day we arrived.He is a wonderful host and can give you numerous suggestions of trips in the area.We highly recommend the Plas del Los and the golf restaurants.There are also thermal bathes in the area where you can definetly relax for 2 day.
