This has been our home for 27 years. We look forward to sharing our home with guests as we travel. We love Marquette and know that those that stay here will love it too.
The Beauty of the 1908 Four Square Architecture is complemented with Modern Kitchen and bathrooms. The walk out finished basements sleeps several in open floor plan. The front porch, back deck and garden patio provide many separate places to enjoy the outdoors. The perfect in town location makes walking to restaurants, breweries, and shops the place to stay. This house is a half block from the Third street corridor and 5 blocks from Main Downtown. The home is 4 block walk to Lake Superior beaches The wonderful energy of the home brings groups together as they enjoy Marquette and each other in comfort. We also own and rent the Victorian house next door. Guests can request code to access shared fitness room in rental next door.

Summary: Our family was visiting Marquette to enjoy some winter festivities, but the home was so comfortable and welcoming that we had a hard time talking ourselves into walking out the front door! Gorgeous and clean home, perfect location to walk everywhere, and seamless communication with host. Accommodating for larger groups who want vacations and/or staycations!Highly recommend

Summary: The house had a fantastic location and beautiful aesthetics. We loved the multiple seating areas inside and the inviting outdoor spaces with a porch and firepit. Both kitchens were well-equipped and beautifully designed. There were a couple of minor issues to mention. The bathroom door on the main floor wouldn't lock, which caused some inconvenience. The AC was not adequate on a super hot day. We also encountered bugs in all of the bedrooms. The cleaning checklist seemed quite extensive! For instance, washing, drying, and putting dishes away took a significant amount of time, which felt like a chore during our short vacation. Perhaps streamlining the checkout instructions could improve the guest experience. Overall, this is a lovely property, and with a few adjustments, it could be even better.
