Summary: My teen son and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Tom and Kelley's beautiful home and talking with them throughout the week. They were incredible hosts -- going above and beyond in a number of ways! So relaxing, yet only a few minutes to the town itself. Bonus: dog Cutie Pie, Pigford the pig, and fishing in the pond. Highly recommend!

Summary: We stayed here for 2 nights when in town for my son's swim meet on the SIU campus. Location was perfect--only 5 minutes from the pool, despite a setting that felt like we were in the country. The house was such a cozy place to relax during our down time, and was very clean and well-stocked. Tom was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed,(even providing us with farm fresh eggs), and also promptly mailed a forgotten charging cord after our departure. Being able to see the pig and dog and wander around the property was an added bonus too. We will absolutely stay here again whenever we're in town!
