1 Bedroom Cabin in Jones Mills, Hot Springs

Cabin was built in the 50's but updated to modern features. Knotty Pine walls and vaulted ceiling with beams give it so much character.
Just the right size for a couple or a family of 4. Beautiful lake views from the front room, living room and deck. Pets must have prior approval.
The cottage consists of one bedroom and one bathroom with and additional sleeping area on the glassed-in front room. There is a queen size memory foam mattress in the bedroom and a full-sized futon in the front room.
Vaulted ceiling in combination Living room-kitchen.
Kitchen has all new cabinets, above the stove microwave, full size fridge. Pots, pans and dishes included to make sure you can cook your own meals. I have also included a coffee pot and toaster.
The bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom. Please be aware of this, as it may be a problem with more than a couple staying.
This is one of the most restful places I have ever lived. The road is off the beaten trail, and only the few neighbors will drive by.
The deck is wonderful, nice place to sit and enjoy the sunrise, a nice drink and beautiful lake views.
Really not a good place to swim unless you are adventurous. You can walk down to the lake on public access steps: but, it is a steep climb up, and there is NO BEACH or DOCK just a bank. VERY STEEP climb. There is a public water access just up the road where you can launch a boat or fish. Water can be very cold here since it comes from below the dam up stream.
There is off the road parking at the back of the house, several steps up to the parking area please see pictures.

Summary: Nice little spot tucked away. The bed is very comfortable. Communication was great. The only small compliant was just the outdoor area being a little untidy with leaves and webs.

Summary: We own our own business and live on-site. The only way to not work 24/7/365 is to leave! We chose the Hot Springs area because it was less than a 3-hour drive for us and we wanted to RELAX. We were very pleased with the cabin and the view. It is located in a very quiet area, you can see other residences but you feel secluded. Morning coffee on the deck with the sun coming up, birds chirping, and lake views was perfect. It's a cozy, comfy cabin perfect for a get-away like this!

Summary: Bathroom toilet too short and in tight spot. Outdoor seating for people who want to smoke only. Couldn't open any windows to enjoy the beautiful weather. Road to cabin very narrow. Was close to everything we wanted to see. Owner was quick to answer text about directions. Television and WiFi had easy access and lots of programming to choose from. Summary: Came for a short stay with my 2 pups. It had a beautiful view of Lake Catherine and was small and cozy. My only complaint would be the dust and cobwebs. Could use a deep cleaning, but i would stay here again.
