This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Our Missouri-Pacific (Mo-Pac) Caboose was built in the 1950s and is appropriately decorated like a '50s diner.
Just outside of the caboose is our American Bison herd. You can sit on the deck & watch them graze & play.
Just down the way, you can check out our other animals: alpacas, llamas, mini horses, mini donkeys, pygmy goats, rabbits & a turkey named Pumpkin!

Summary: My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The caboose was so clean and nicely done. The farm was awesome and we enjoyed the animals and scenic area. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: This is a very unique place and a fun experience if you're looking for something different from the usual hotels and resorts. Up in the forest, off the beaten path with minimal lighting at night, but still felt quite safe - even took a short midnight walk to fully enjoy the natural night sounds like cicadas, crickets, frogs and owls, but mostly liked seeing all the fireflies (they're rare now where we live, in Wilmington)! The Mo-Pac caboose is neat, well thought-out, and very appealing if you like 1950s and 60s themes, or if you simply want a clean, unfussy, yet private place in a peaceful farm-type setting. Great place overall for animal-loving kids (and adults), and general nature lovers of all ages!

Summary: Beautiful property, with well appointed caboose cabins, many interesting animals to experience up close and a fantastic model railroad layout to delight in! The property owners were available on site and committed to guests having a wonderful experience. We loved this unique experience and look forward to retuning.
