Vacation kyoto House is located in the heart of Kyoto’s district.
It takes 1 min- walk to Matsugasaki Subway station and bus stop. Subway takes 10min central city , 14min Kyoto JR-station. All areas of the city are easily accessible, also within an hour to Osaka and Nara city! it is very near international conference hall,too.
It is in a very peaceful and traditional residential area,too. kyoto people really like this area. it is very rare vacation house.Please refresh the tiredness of your trip in a convenient place to go anywhere. you can see mountain and refer,too. there are many parks and trees,etc. Air is tasty!
One of the biggest event in kyoto is [Gozan no Okuribi] , more commonly known as[ Daimonji] is a festival in Kyoto, Japan. It is the culmination of the O-Bon festival on August 16, in which five giant bonfires are lit on mountains surrounding the city.
You can see two of five letters through the windows!
There are Supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shop, restaurants, post office,DVD rental shop,also Kyoto International Conference Center and Kyoto Concert Hall,Kyoto botanical garden, etc. near the house.
※ I think it is comfortable for 1-6 persons to stay at our vacation house as maximum numbers, however, for example, two families ,groups, friends,,,,until 9 persons as max, we can prepare Japanese Futon for guests. I think it is very good for a family including baby, kid.
※ Normally check-in time is after 4PM and check-out is before 11AM.

Summary: From the moment we arrived at Kenta’s home until the day we left five weeks later we were thankful we chose such a lovely well located house. Kenta is a fantastic host who provided us with all the information we needed to make the transition to his home seamless. The residential location with close proximity to subway, large park and recreation facilities was perfect.

Summary: A lovely house in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. Walking distance to stores and restaurants and super close to the subway station. The owner and his representative, Mr Sato, went out of their way to help us and make sure we have everything we needed and even suggested some excellent restaurants and activities. The house is everything you could ask for.

Summary: We had a fantastic month in the holiday house of Kenta Nakano. A spacious house in a quiet neighbourhood. Very close to the subway and a few minutes walk to convenience stores and restaurants. We enjoyed morning walks in the nearby forrest and around a lovely lake. The house was perfectly equipped and Kenta Nakano a wonderful host. He picked us up at the subway and gave us all the informations we needed for our stay. We'll certainly return to Kentas holiday house for our next stay in Kyoto.

Summary: We loved EVERYTHING about this property - location, house, rooms, bath, kitchen, balcony, etc. It was so comfortable and convenient! The Host was wonderful, explaining details about the house to us, providing a reference notebook and touching base to ensure everything was great. As stated, the trains, parks, and grocery stores were a very short walk from the house. We had an awesome stay and hope to arrange a return visit to the property in the future.

Summary: Our family of four stayed from January through June. The place is terrific, and all of our friends--both locals and foreigners--were jealous of our accommodations. It is unusually spacious, and it is both warm in the winter (heated floors) and cool in the summer (plentiful AC). The host Kenta went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We loved the location because it is adjacent to a large park and in a quiet neighborhood, but at the same time is only a stone's throw from the Karasuma line and from a Lawson convenience store. Groceries, restaurants, and shops are five minutes away by bike, and there is easy bike access to the rivers. Very highly recommended for families visiting Kyoto, whether for short visits or for longer ones.

Summary: Had a very enjoyable stay in this house with the family while I attended a conference at the Convention Centre which is only 1 stop away on the subway. The house is pretty roomy by Japanese standards. Clean and comfortable with 3 bedrooms as well as a living area, well-equipped kitchen, washing machine and balcony plus an empty attic area. In a lovely neighborhood and overlooking a sports park. Not really near most of the tourist attractions, but lovely, quiet and peaceful - and only a 1 minute walk from the subway which can easily take you to them (around 18 mins to Kyoto station and trains seem to come even few minutes). We also enjoyed riding around the place on the bikes that come with the property. There are a few restaurants within easy walking distance and a convenience store called Lawsons (open 24 hours) right next to the station. Koji and Kenta were easily contactable and very helpful with answering questions, and met us at the train station - also alerted us to the fact that the Kansai airport we were supposed to fly into had been temporarily closed after typhoon damage, so that we could fly into Tokyo instead and catch the bullet train. Would love to stay again!

Summary: The vacation house was more than we expected. The size, the amenities, the location and Kenta was a wonderful host. We didn’t want to leave and already know that this is the rental we will use again if we are fortunate enough to return to Kyoto. We miss it already!

Summary: We spent 5 days at this property with our three children, ages 7, 10 and 14. The location was great- a two minute walk to the Matsugasaki metro station and a well-stocked Lawson convenience store. The house overlooks a sports field and playground, which was great for the kids. The neighborhood is residential, but there are a few restaurants within walking distance. The house was roomy, clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed and more! Kenta was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. He also helped us figure out some fun things to do around Kyoto. Highly recommended, especially for a family!

Summary: Our family of four adults had a wonderful stay at Kenta's residence. Kenta was a great host. We arrived close to 11PM and he was waiting, making sure that the house was warm for us. We loved the house and its neighborhood. The subway station is a few steps away and less than 10 minutes ride to the Kyoto station. The house is very spacious, cozy, has the Japanese traditional feels, with some of the modern touches. It is a nice place to come back to after a long day of sight seeing. We stayed here for 9 days and loved it. The bikes at the house were another nice touch as we used them to ride around to other neighborhoods and grocery shopping. Thank you Kenta for sharing your house with our family.
