Positive: Location was good with nice views. A comfortable bed and sofa. Decor was pleasant and the tvs were decent.
Negative: Dust on top of cabinets and wardrobes, bird poop on the decking, oven was dirty inside and felt just dirty in general. Lack of any welcome basket, just random leftover seasonings and a tiny milk. Bathroom was awkwardly laid out and small.
Summary: It was nice but not worth the price. Not as clean as expected but lovely location.

Negative: Parking was a bit tricky but we resolved to park across the lake - no big deal but something to be aware of if you need car near by Tried contacting property when high tide was getting very close to property and we were concerned we might need to take action . Used Booking.com messaging as I like an auditable route but did not get a reply . Fortunately water stopped just before the gate Few cleaning materials missing and information regarding the bins needs updating
Summary: Very comfortable stay with our 9 year old grandson . Shane about the weather !!

Positive: Lovely compact cottage, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Lovely view from the balcony when tide is in (a little muddy when tide is out) Good location for base to travel around the area. Would definitely recommend.
Negative: Parking was fine for us as we stayed at end of March but not sure it would be quite so easy out of season. Bathroom is a little small but has a very good shower. The towels provided were on the small side. Would gave preferred bath sheet.

Positive: Fabulous location for our needs. Very easy access to the SW coast path, Turnchapel, Bovisand, Wembury etc, yet within relatively short travel into Plymouth. Very peaceful, lovely location by tidal lake, boats etc., and sitting out on decking overlooking this was great. Dog friendly (although not allowed upstairs or on furniture), and although no grass in the property courtyard, the playing field was just a minute’s walk away.
Negative: It was chilly and we couldn’t get the heating to work. Did a wash load but the line was tiny and we couldn’t find a clothes horse or aider. Stairs are quite steep, especially coming down. Hand rail was broken (although owner had apologised about this in advance).
Summary: Pretty boaty cottage vibes in great location very close to beaches and SW coast path but in Plymouth

Negative: roads in the surrounding area congested and confusing to find our way around. Sat nav struggled to find a route. A map of the surrounding facilities, like best route to ferry would be helpful .
