Welcome to Seascape by IRIS PROPERTIES!
Seascape is a beautiful vacation property located just 10 minute walk from downtown Sooke with many bakeries, shops, and natural attractions. Sooke is the gateway to the rugged west coast with incredible beaches, hiking, surfing, and so much more in the area.
Please take special note that the property is comprised of 5 different rental units spread across the property. Some of the units share walls so please be courteous of your neighbours.
Communal areas of the property include the private dock, beach access (on low tide), and the front grassy area and deck overlooking the ocean. Each of the units also has it's own private sitting and outdoor areas. There is also a shared/communal laundry facility on site to be used between the hours of 9 AM-7PM.
We rent to family groups, couples, and visitors from around the globe. We do not cater to any party groups whatsoever. This is a tranquil and quiet area, and we like to rent to groups looking to enjoy the peaceful environment offered in beautiful Sooke.
SEASCAPE COTTAGE
It is a perfect retreat for couples or friends to have a home away from home experience.
Note that this 2 bedroom cottage sits on the back of the property, so there is NO ocean view and it is on the side closest to Sooke Road. However, you are just a short stroll from the communal areas on the property and 200' private dock for taking in the views. It does as well have it's own completely private sitting area and hot tub.

Summary: Great location and space. Great amenities and the suite was well stocked with necessities. The only comment I have is that instructions for hot tub need to be more specific about the chemicals that need to be added.

Summary: This is a small cute spot near a beautiful body of water. While the area isn't particularly walkable and you'll share the land with several other small structures, the location is tranquil, the place clean, the kitchen well-stocked with cookware, and the accomodations are comfortable. Our only very small issues (not worth reconsidering your stay overall just something to think about), the hot tub had algae in it which, if you really want a hot tub, you may have to consider if that bothers you. And two, the check-in information wasn't communicated through VRBO it was communicated through a private email from the rental company so we were confused upon arrival. Once we accessed the information, however, the process of getting in was very smooth. We had a great time and would absolutely stay again.

Summary: We had a great weekend here. Sooke is a lovely little town. We recommend Wild Mountain for dinner if you are not in a rush... or maybe make a reservation. The cottage is clean, the two king beds are very comfortable. You can hear noise from the highway, but traffic dies way down by bedtime and it did not bother us or keep us awake at all. The hot tub was clean, hot and very relaxing. If you are using the electric hot plates for cooking, make sure to put the pan on the plate before attempting to use it. All in all it was exactly as described.

Summary: Overall a cute place to stay. Nice decor, very well stocked. Our only real issues were: we found the tv to be glitchy, shut off randomly, and there was no remote for dvd player--couldn't use it.

Summary: This is a nice little spot in Sooke, BC. Quaint, and worked well for two friends meeting up from different places across Canada. The highway was loud at times, but you got used to it. And liked that you had access to the dock/beach by a short walk. Only downside was that kitchen items needed an upgrade (a few frying pans were burnt, and had to use). Great communication with manager. Recommended overall.
