Located in the quiet hamlet of Folleville less than 30 minutes drive to Mont St Michel and beautiful beaches. Supermarket and boulangerie only 2km away.
L'Hirondelle Cottage sleeps 5 and has a private patio area with BBQ. This property has a well equipped kitchen and an open plan living area with French and English [FreeSat] TV, DVD and Wi-Fi facilities.
L'Hirondelle - and our other 2 gites on the same site - is set in grounds of 1 acre with an open-air swimming pool, sun loungers, pool cabin.
PLEASE NOTE: The heated swimming pool is only open between 8th June and 13th September.
Other shared facilities are:
Games room with a full sized pool table, dart board, TV/DVD facilities and a selection of DVDs, Bicycles of various sizes which are suitable for all ages.

Summary: Dotted around a few places and spent a few days beside the pool. Rennes was great and went to Mont Saint Michel a couple of times as it was so local.

Summary: The gite had a fabulously spacious open plan living room/dining room/kitchen with a very private outdoor dining space. We loved the swimming pool and games room and the peace and quiet of the countryside. There are so many places to visit within an hour of the property including an amazing tree top zip wire where our 11 year old spent 3.5 happy hours among the tree tops. The hosts were very relaxed and helpful.

Summary: This property ticks all the boxes and more, a fantastic property in a great location. The property is very clean and well maintained,with a fully kitted out kitchen and a washing machine. The log burner was brilliant.

Summary: Alison and Malcolm could not have done more to make our stay so comfortable. Communication was effortless which is important to us and the directions for finding Folleville were so helpful. Our stunning Gite was fully equipped to cook for the family. Everything was clean and well maintained. We were fortunate to have fabulous weather and made use of the heated pool and sun loungers daily. The location afforded us the ability to visit the many surrounding historic places of interest and still have time to relax in the games room or go for a swim in the pool. We went for walks in the beautiful countryside and next time we’ll be out on the bikes that were available to use (it was a bit too hot this summer!) We had privacy with the comfort of knowing that if we needed anything, our hosts were close by. On our last day, none of us wanted to leave (when usually after previous holidays, someone has had enough and wants to go home) and although we have never returned to the same destination, we were already discussing who we’ll bring with us next time.

Summary: Myself, Martina and our 3 daughters stayed for 10 days during the Summer with Alison in Hirondelle and found it to be an ideal location for a relaxing holiday in the Normandy countryside. The cottages are fantastically renovated providing a luxurious base to explore the area of which there is so much to see. We had full use of the heated swimming pool, large garden and barbeque area and even bicycles for a quick spin to the local village. Alison and Malcolm were so friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous holiday and cant wait to return. Conor

Summary: We recently spent a week with Alison at her place in Brittany. Herself and her husband couldn't have been nicer and were always so happy to help us out in any way they could. We had a fabulous trip. The kids had a wonderful time. The house was lovely- very clean and well equipped. The pool facilities were excellent and very well maintained. The area is a good one for going on day trips, as it is quite central. See you next year Alison! Thanks again. K
