What Our Guests say 500 + Reviews

Summary: We stayed at Donadea over August Bank Holiday and from even before our arrival the hosts were wonderfully heart warming and welcoming. We had a most wonderful stay, our kids (aged 10 and 8) loved the game consoles and absolutely adored Audrey the cat and not forgetting collecting the eggs from the chickens. The cottage is in an immaculate condition and the hosts have thought of all the guests needs for a relaxing stay. The pictures of the cottage setting were lovely and the reviews were all good but it doesn’t happen often where the reality is even better! Most wonderful stay, would most highly recommend and thank you to both Tony and Wendy for taking time out to show us around, advising us about the areas to visit and for the yummy cakes . We look forward to visiting again very soon. Sal Birmingham Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: Had a great 4 nights at the cottage with my daughter. Very well equipped and in a lovely setting for rest and recuperation. Wendy was great - she met us on arrival and we had spoken before over the phone to discuss Covid restrictions. We had a very quiet day on the Wednesday and she came round with cake and home grown raspberries/cream. There was a welcome pack of jam, Welsh cakes and eggs, and a fully frozen ice-cube tray in the cool box of the fridge - a nice extra, plus a pint of milk. We hope to visit again. Summary: Donadea cottage was the most perfect getaway. The location is perfect for the secluded Welsh getaway but within a short drive to local beaches and attractions. Wendy was the kindest and most hospitable host. She was very quick to get back to any enquiries and questions and really went out of her way to make our stay so wonderful. We can't wait to come visit again! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Wendy and her husband are wonderful hosts and have spent a great deal of care and attention to detail to include all the things you would need while on holiday. The location is superb and the garden immaculate. The beds are super comfy and the house is so warm and cozy you don't want to leave. The gym is a great addition to the stay. Summary: A very lovely cottage well maintained and fitted out to make your stay very comfortable. The garden is very well kept and very large and children would love it. It is also so quiet that it is also very good for couples wanting peace. The TV has Netflix included and the wi-fi is very good. The couple that own the cottage Wendy and Tony are two of the nicest people you would wish to meet and have a cat which is super friendly. The only downside is the narrow lane to access the cottage but there is another route to it, a little longer drive, but the cottage is well worth the trouble to face the narrow track or the detour. Summary: We have just spent two wonderful weeks over Christmas and New Year at Donadea. We work overseas, so after a long, tiring day flying back to the UK, it was lovely to pull up at Donadea Cottage. The cottage was decorated for Christmas and all the lights were twinkling. We were met with a warm welcome from Wendy, who showed us inside their beautiful cottage. The cottage is stunning, and clean, with every attention to detail and all the home comforts you could need. Wendy and Tony really go above and beyond for their guests-upon arrival we received a lovely welcome hamper of goodies, and Wendy even baked us a delicious cake on New Year's Eve which was a really thoughtful gesture. The cottage is situated down a quiet lane with easy access to the coast, cities, towns-and small villages with cosy country pubs. If you don't feel like venturing out you will find everything you need here. The cottage is set in stunning gardens and it was really nice to just sit and relax in the garden with a glass of wine and listen to the peace and quiet. At the end of of our stay, we didn't want to leave-we had two very unhappy teenagers as we pulled out of the drive! Thank you for a memorable stay Wendy and Tony-we hope to return to Donadea one day!
