Summary: Second time at Tottsie, it was lovely to stay there again. Improvements made include a dishwasher which was helpful. Beautiful views from the cottage and easy access to woods behind for walking the dog. Quirky garden access arrangements removes usefulness of the garden but that's a minor point with the Lake District on the doorstep.

Summary: Charming old cottage with brilliant views of Skidaw and the Derwent valley. The facilities inside the cottage are very good and clean. Everything worked and I had a nice chat with the lady who's carport you need to go through to reach the garden. We had a good week with the weather so parking 50 yards from the cottage in a lay-by was not a problem, though may of been a bind had the weather been awfull. Would go again.

Summary: Lovely comfortable cottage. Very well equipped. Good location to access the lakes. Superb views. Shame there wasn't direct access to the garden and garden could have benefited from some nice flower borders and nicer seating. Wi-fi would be good but overall a lovely place to stay.
