In the rural village of Linton-on-Ouse and in the beautiful Vale of York, this comfortably furnished and equipped cottage is conveniently located for visiting all the many attractions in the surrounding area. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the beautiful shared one-acre well maintained wooded gardens and lawns, which are a haven for wildlife. The ancient walled city of York itself is only nine miles away (there is a bus service from Linton and the Park and Ride York service is just seven miles away). The city of York has museums, shops, restaurants, theatre and the unforgettable Minster. There is a village pub and shop/Post Office and excellent meals can be found in the picturesque surrounding villages. The Georgian country market town of Easingwold is close at hand and day fishing, riding, golf and bowling are all available.

Summary: A lovely cottage with a great garden, in which to relax or let the kids play. Set in a pleasent and peaceful village not far from York, Easingwold and Thirsk. A great place to explore Yorkshire. Tony was such a lovely host, nothing was too much trouble.

Summary: We had a great time in The Fuchsia Cottage. The cottage is clean and comfortable and the play room it's an extra bonus in case of the bad weather.
