Summary: We had an amazing time here. We initially booked for March but due to covid 19 lockdown had to postpone. The owners were extremely accommodating and we received a friendly (yet distanced) welcome, completed with a basket of essentials on arrival and an amazing homemade loaf of bara brith! Everything you could think of was supplied and everything spotless. Shaun came round twice daily to check and maintain the hot tub, he was always friendly but was never invasive. The surrounding area is beautiful, alot of time and effort has gone into clearing the lake providing stunning views from the patio and hot tub. Plenty of wildlife to spot and lots of peace! Alot of thought has gone into covid restrictions and safety and the owners were always on hand to offer any help in a safe manner. The free WiFi kept the kids entertained when needed and a useful information folder in the cottage gives plenty of ideas for walks and local attractions. We loved our stay and I'm sure we will return! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: Really friendly owners who were always around to help. Lovely grounds to walk and relax in. Good size cottage for relaxing in after a day of exploring, would be a little small for anymore than 3 people. Super comfy beds and the cottage had everything we needed. Summary: We had booked Kite Cottage for 4 nights, so that we could unwind after a busy year. We arrived late (bl**dy SatNav), but Mary was unperturbed when we phoned to let them know. On arrival we were welcomed by the hosts and the starter pack with tea, coffee, milk and bara brith was a delight. The hot tub was even more delightful after many hours on the road and sitting in the tub every night gazing up at the stars with a gin was sooo relaxing. The view is gorgeous and sitting out the back watching and listening to the birds every morning over breakfast was a fantastic start to the day.

Summary: Had a lovely couple of nights at Kite Cottage, the hosts are very friendly and helpful. You had everything you needed at the cottage and the local town is only 5 minutes away. The setting was lovely right in the middle of no where. The only thing that wasn't great was the mattress, it was very uncomfortable and i woke up aching all over both mornings.
