Just 100 yards from Loch Goil, this terraced holiday house is ideal for exploring the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.. Ground Floor:
Kitchen: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.
First Floor:
Living room: With Freeview Sky TV, DVD player, CD player and Z-bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements).
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bedroom 2: With twin bed.. Oil central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot available on request. Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Situated in the heart of the village with views over the loch from the upstairs, this terraced holiday house is situated only 100 yards from the shores of the loch. The village is approached via Hells Glen and the famous Rest and Be Thankful valley. Local Drinsyne Hotel offers many family facilities including a children’s indoor play area, swimming pool and jacuzzi (for a charge). Bike and boat hire locally, as well as 9-hole golf and pony trekking. There are woodland and loch walks direct from the door. Situated in Scotland’s first National Park, and with Loch Lomond and the majesty of Ben Lomond close by, the area is staggeringly beautiful. The waters of this area are the home to many different types of fish whilst Loch Lomond, the largest freshwater loch in Scotland, offers a wide range of water sports, to suit all ages and abilities, including sailing, canoeing and waterskiing. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Summary: We loved our stay here. The overall setting is beautiful and we got chatting to some helpful locals by the lakeside when we arrived. The property is really well equipped and we cooked lots of meals, as well as popping to the local pub for food and drinks. Great walks on your doorstep, and the house was really comfortable to relax in after a day on the hills. The welcome pack of food in the kitchen was so thoughtful, and Liz was really helpful all the way through our stay. We would definitely come back.

Summary: This was a clean and very warm cottage that had everything we needed. Access to the Colway from the cottage allowing different walking options. We found on arrival milk butter bottle of wine and Scottish breakfast pack. This was a nice and unexpected gift from the owner.We will use this cottage again in the future.

Summary: Flowerdale was awkward to get to. a B road, lane up to the house was poor, the garden was in need of some TLC and there did not appear to be any fire alarms. However Liz the owner contacted us to check we were OK which we appreciated. Able to put the heating on, kitchen was very functional and everything in the house worked well. Glad of our time away.. Summary: Had a pleasant weekend here the cottage was very clean,no smell at all ,everything you need is here. The house is very warm and plenty hot water, would definitely stay here again. PS nice touches butter and milk and wine in fridge.

Summary: This is our 4th visit to Flowerdale. Our daughter and family live in the village and we need accommodation to visit them. Flowerdale is clean, comfortable and good value for money. It suits us. We wrote a longer review in March which can be looked at online. If you want to be off the beaten track and enjoy walking, climbing, scenery, lochs etc and visits to Loch Lomond, Glencoe, Bute, Kintyre etc you will enjoy the area.

Summary: This property is due for an upgrade and some love! Unfortunately the property has a very musty smell which means that all the clothes that we took now require washing (even the unworn ones). Appreciate it is a pet friendly cottage and it is sometimes stood empty which has probably contributed to this. However welcome pack is great and the location is amazing. The owner does phone on arrival to see if all is okay but it is far too early to give an honest answer. Please note, this property has no WIFI, although not advertised with any, however the 3/4G signal is also intermittent at best. This cottage is cheap and these issues are possibly reflected in the price. We arrived early and were accommodated to early entrance which was very much appreciated.
