Summary: We have stayed at Monks Thatch cottage 7 times over the past 12 years and we absolutely love it there. It is situated in the centre of the most beautiful part of Devon and near to the Jurassic coastal path. It is also very close to Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth. Summary: A lovely thatched cottage in large landscaped grounds near to the sea, the Devon coastal path and surrounded by great scenery. It has one family bathroom and would suit a couple with up to 2 children or two couple who are happy to share a bathroom. We enjoyed a splendid week there and will be returning next year. Summary: This lovely, comfortable cottage annexe, attached to the owners’ house is in a tranquil setting and has great access to wonderful and scenic coastal walks. The owner is very welcoming and helpful and not only were we supplied with a few basic provisions on arrival but were also greeted with fresh flowers from the garden and chocolate in the lounge area - a lovely gesture. Be mindful that there is an additional charge at the end of your stay for electricity and oil. Maybe this is understandable as, in our opinion, the cottage is somewhat fuel hungry. Summary: Beautiful Thatched cottage in a very quiet location. A beautiful garden and such a lovely lady who welcomed us from day 1. Went the extra mile. So close to beaches, village with a community shop and gardens. Not too far from minature steam trains and Trams.
