With plenty to explore in this area, Wimbleball Lake for fishing and water sports, less than 4 miles. A short drive will bring you to Exmoor National Park, Dunster and the Exe Valley. Tiverton and Exeter are within easy reach. Free range eggs and fruit from the owner’s garden available in season. Shops and pubs 1⅓ miles.

Summary: The owner and his family couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay and were made very welcome. The Old Mill is central to the area we wanted to explore with Barnstable, Dunster, Tiverton, Minehead all within easy driving distance, through beautiful countryside. Local amenities gets an 8 as there was a short drive to Bampton to buy supplies, although we new this before we went and took most of the food we needed with us. We would recommend The Old Mill to friends & family. We had a great stay and will be going back in the not to distant future. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: A perfect spot for exploring Devon, about a 45 minute drive to some great coastal towns. The hosts were fabulous, very friendly. The property was beautiful & well equipped. Shillingford has no amenities so you will need to drive to any shops or restaurants.

Summary: Beautiful location and we took our Grandchildren and the owners were very friendly and made the children feel at home . Nothing was to much trouble for them . Plus the grandchildren would go back again, we felt as if we had been there for ever
