A luxurious two bedroom townhouse in the historic heart of Cambridge city centre, with on-site garage parking for a small to medium sized car, providing a perfect base from which guests can explore the delights of Cambridge.
The property is 111.5 square metres in size (1200 square foot), and is spread over four floors, all linked by an attractive spiral staircase.
The master bedroom on the top floor has a king size bed, dressing table, wardrobe and bedside table, and boasts a view of the famous Chapel of St John's College - one of the most recognisable buildings in Cambridge.
The stylish first floor living room is perfect for unwinding after a busy day of sightseeing. With it's own juliet balcony, overlooking the intersection between Portugal Street, Portugal Place, and New Park Street, the living room contains a 55" smart TV, several coffee tables, and two large sofas - one of which opens out as a comfortable double sofa bed.
The ground floor dining room is modern and spacious, with a large extendable dining table and six chairs. The kitchen has recently been replaced, with brand new units and appliances throughout.
There is a large twin bedroom on the bottom floor, with two full size single beds, a dressing table and plenty of storage.
The property also offers two luxurious shower rooms - one on the top floor, and one in the basement, each furnished with a large shower enclosure (with dual shower head), as well as a sink, vanity unit and a toilet.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, along with a smart heating system to keep all of the rooms at a comfortable temperature.
Parking for a small to medium sized car is provided via an on-site garage to the rear of the development. The garage door opening has minimum dimensions of 204cm (width) x 192cm (height), and internally the garage measures 254cm (width) x 465cm (length).
Please note, a standard UK king size mattress measures 5’ x 6’3” (150 x 190cm), which is slightly smaller than a US king size mattress. The single mattresses in the twin room are also standard UK size, and measure 3'0'' x 6'3'' 90 x 190 cm.

Summary: Town home w 4 levels. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms provide great convenience for our family of 4. The lower level has the 2nd bedroom with 2 single bedrooms and laundry facility. Iron and board are also available. Kitchen is well stocked with plates/cups/utensils. We didnt cook, but the electric water kettle and toaster all came in handy. It rained 3 days while we were in Cambridge; bring own umbrellas. I'd rent this place again.

Summary: Our stay was truly excellent. The property was fresh, clean, and cozy. Every provision was provided is a simple and tasteful manner. The location was absolutely perfect to access all parts of Cambridge. We felt safe, inspired, comfortable and now grateful for the opportunity to stay in such a lovely home!

Summary: Perfect location, lovely house But, sleeping in the bedrooms was almost impossible because of the heat. I’d suggest at least two heavy duty fans for the bedrooms. Also, more than one towel per person would have been nice given that we were there parts of five days.

Summary: Wonderful property in a wonderful location. We enjoyed the modern kitchen and relaxing in the living room. Got a lot of exercise going up and down :) the hosts had kid-friendly amenities like a cot and high chair. Very neat and clean. East to walk around the city and along the river, and so close to St James park.

Summary: Our stay for our family of four was wonderful, the location is perfect, close to downtown, restaurants and shopping. A bit further from the bus stop if you need to take the train out (15-20min bus ride or a 25 min walk) but we didn’t find this to be an issue. The house was comfortable and well appointed and Hannah was extremely responsive if we needed anything. We would most definitely stay here again!

Summary: Absolutely beautiful place so so close to everything in town. Would stay here again. Just an FYI lots of stairs so not idea for those unable to climb and tight garage for big cars but neither renters fault and didn't effect our visit at all!. Just needed more toilet role 🤣
