2 Bedroom Cottage in Warsaw, Pierceton

This is a very comfortable cottage, perfect for your family or a couples get-a-way.
While this cottage is not lake front it is just feet away from the waters edge. One of my best times of the day is to get a cup of coffee walk outside the cottage while the dew is still on the ground walk down to the lake. If you are quiet you will see the bass swimming along the sea wall. We have a pier to fish off of and to park a boat. The Cottage is a small Cottage but very comfortable equipped with everything you need. Just bring food. It is on a well so if you don’t like the well water you might consider bottled water. The deck outside has a gas grill and gas, along with table and other seating. We do have a fire pit area that other cottages surrounding also uses. Great time to meet other people. The shared beach area gives you chance to get cooled off or play in the sand.
The sun is warming as I walk to the lake. It is so quiet, you can sneak up on the bass that are swimming by the seawall. Walk out on the pier and watch as the swans and other birds fly by, and watch as the lake starts to wake up as the fish jump hungrily for their morning meal.
Water fun abounds from your pier. Sunbathing swimming and fishing. At the end of the pier you can swim perfect for the swimmers and sun bathing! The pier has space for your boat. If you are not bringing a boat we can help you with a pontoon rental.
Beach area is shared by others but plenty of sand for everyone. Sand toys are located at the beach area. We also have a wagon so you don't have to carry anything to the beach or pier.
This cottage has a bedroom with a queen size bed and all bed linens. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and all bed linens. The living room has a sofa bed that pulls out to a queen size bed and all bed linens.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for making a fresh summer meal or just heating up a pizza! Check out all the amenities we offer for the kitchen. We don't want you to have to pack like you are camping. Just bring your food and enjoy your time.
The bathroom is small but has everything you need. Thirty bath towels, wash clothes, hand soap, and toilet tissue. Shower only sorry no tub. We do not have laundry area at this time but we do have a clothes line for wet towels and bathing suits.
This is a comfortable cottage for four people but you can have up to six people if you like each other😀 this place gives you options to go to other areas to be alone or just have some down time.
The outside area has a great shaded area with rocking chairs to sit and read. The deck area has the picnic table, gas grill with gas, and chaise lounge chairs.
For the enjoyment for little ones a swing set and play area is on site. This is a shared area with other renters of our cottages. Along with a fire pit, and fire wood. We encourage everyone to use this area and get to know others at the lake. Roast a marshmallow and make a friend.
Due to Covid we now have fire pit for each cottage.

Summary: We had a great stay here. Kathy was a phenomenal host and was very helpful with every question we had. We had a 19ft bass boat and crew cab truck and had plenty of room to park. Can’t wait for next year!

Summary: House was exactly as stated on the ad. Very quaint and cute house located about 75 feet down the road from the edge of the lake. The kitchen has all the things you would need for a weekend or longer stay. We were able to comfortably sleep 6 (2 adults and 4 teenagers). The bathroom and shower were fine. The hostess was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and things to do when the lakefront was not on the plan. There were kayaks and paddleboards for use in the water. A long pier was good for impromptu fishing. Would recommend staying here.

Summary: Nice and clean place that was great for what we were looking for. Like the fact you had a t.v. in each room. We were visiting Middlebury and amish country more than anything else and was a little bit of a drive but very manageable and we enjoyed the scenery and the people. Kathy was nice enough to offer us a boat ride even though we had already made other plans we did appreciate the offer. Thanks.

Summary: Great location, on the lake with spots to park a boat if you have one. We used the dock for fishing, enjoyed the sand and swim area, and used the row boat for a ride too! We rented a boat from Tippy Marina so we spent one day on that lake. Next time I’d rent from Barbee marina so we could just park at the cottage and stay on our own lake all day. (Be sure to book in advance-we neglected that and we’re lucky to get a one day rental calling 2 weeks in advance at tippy). We went to the grocery store and had most meals at the cottage. We grilled mostly but also used inside for breakfast-eggs, toast, pancakes. Kathy has some spices there and all utensils you’d need. Honestly the only thing I didn’t see that I have in my home kitchen is a blender—she even had a hand mixer! My kids loved having the park area which is shared with Kathy’s other rental properties so they got to play with some new friends. Kathy suggested a ski show in town and we had a blast watching the amazing trick skiers. Grocery store was within 10-15 minutes of the cottage as were most things. Ritters ice cream was a favorite for my kids! There’s a nice little fishing store about 7 minutes away-I don’t fish but my kids wanted to and they were really nice and helpful. We drove into some of the neighboring towns to check things out which was fun. Kathy was so nice and checking in to be sure we had what we needed. We can’t wait to plan our next visit!

Summary: Owner was very nice and helpful! Small space but with everything we needed, and just a short walk from the lake with a dock for a boat. The day of our check out she even told us we could stay past check out time since there were no other visitors that day.

Summary: We had a fantastic time at the Ramona Cottage on Lake Barbee. Kathy is a SUPER Host! The cottage has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. All you need is food. Kathy was quick to respond to us whenever we needed her. She took us on a wonderful Pontoon ride to show us all the lakes connected and gave us a bit of history about the area. The neighbors were so friendly and helpful as well. Outside the cottage is a large private deck with a glider, table and chairs and a gas grill. Also a fire pit area.The lake is a short walk from the cottage. We can't wait to come back again. Thanks Kathy!
