The Space:
Stylish and quiet two-bedroom one bath apartment in a small complex located just north of LSU's Tiger Stadium. Granite countertops, dishwasher, central air, in-unit washer and dryer, wi-fi, smart TV, off-street parking and a pool all combine to make this an outstanding home away from home perfect for professionals visiting LSU or Baton Rouge in general. Fully furnished including bedding, kitchenware, and bathware. Including a separate work desk.
The complex is a small 22-unit building in a quiet neighborhood just north of LSU campus, other tenants are generally older grad students. Locked security gates ensure only tenants have access inside. The saltwater pool is located in the central gated courtyard. Parking is located steps away off the street in our lot, and is first-come first served. Additional parking is available on the street. Excellent location just north of campus, jogging paths and parks, just south of downtown Baton Rouge, and easy access to the highway to get around town quickly.
Guest Access:
In addition to your private apartment, you'll have access to the shared pool and patio, as well as one off-street parking space in our parking lot. Your additional cars can be parked on the street just steps away.
The Neighborhood:
Quiet neighborhood, mix of grad students, younger students, and families. Steps from Tiger Stadium and Matherne's grocery store, Torchy's tacos, Starbucks, fast food. Jogging paths and parks like University Lakes and City Park nearby. Just south of downtown Baton Rouge, near to Mid-City restaurants and nightlife. Easy access to the highway and major hospitals.
Getting Around:
Walkable to LSU campus and necessities like grocery stores, restaurants. Easy access to the highway. Public transit stops within walking distance. One parking lot space included, and plentiful on-street parking right on the block.
Other Things to Note:
Smoking outdoors is permitted and cigarette butts disposed of in the receptacles in the courtyard. Quiet neighbors and a small community feel. LSU football draws many fans to the nearby stadium for home games and tailgating. Traffic will be impacted before and after those games.

Summary: Apartment was super cute. Apartment had all we needed. We really wanted to use the pool but no way it was clean or was it cleaned while we were there…that was such a bummer for us! The property itself has so much potential. I wasn’t sure of the neighborhood…nice apart in front and to the left of us and immediately to the right not so nice. Also a train 2 out of 4 mornings train right behind came thru blowing its whistle at 530 am. If we ever came back to Baton Rouge I am not sure we would considering staying again.

Summary: Can’t ask for much better location if there for LSU. A residence hall is right next door. Cross the street and you are on campus by the athletic facilities. Apartment was a nice 2 bedroom. Reminded me of my first out of college. Gave my teenager space he wanted. Did not use kitchen except the fridge. But looked well equipped. Showed up and it was clean. Beds were comfortable. Only issue and not the host can control but there is a train right behind the complex. You can hear it all hours. Only woke me up once in our 3 night stay. My teen said he could feel it during the day. But I could not.

Summary: Overall this was a good find. Online listing was mostly as advertised, however some forewarning about the freight train would have been nice. It rolled through somewhere nearby blasting its horn each morning which made for an unexpected alarm we could have done without. The apartment complex also has a pool that was included in the listing, but was not in useable condition for our stay in late March. Other than those things, the neighborhood was decent, the parking was easy - if the lot was full, it was easy to find street parking. The unit was cleaned and had all the amenities we needed. Within walking distance of LSU campus (we went to visit Mike the tiger).All of this for a lower price than most other area listings or hotels. Would recommend.
