Summary: This property was amazing for our family to vacation at. It has everything to offer and it made us feel as if we were at home. The kids were kept busy for hours by playing in the water or in the space provided on the property. We were able to enjoy every sunrise and sunset with a great view of the lake.

Summary: Yes, it's right off the highway so it's a little noisy. Yes, it has well water and no a/c. Yes it needs some updates but come on, it's a cabin. Actually, it's two cabins, (both with lake views and a shared yard) so we were able to have some space from our friends and meet on the porches in the morning for breakfast (anyone traveling with someone who snores? bringing the inlaws to help with the kids?) The owner is very caring and takes even little concerns and suggestions seriously. There's plenty of clean sandy beach for kids to play on, a big firepit, picket fenced yard that kept the dogs & kids in. It's a short drive to Ludington and a slightly longer one to Traverse City. We were able to bring our new puppy to join our adventures, even tuning through the Manistee National Forest. I could see these cabins being great for snowmobilers, ATV, and fishermen, as well as family vacations at the lake. Overall, it's a comfortable property that will only improve that I'd have no problem staying at again.

Summary: We stayed at Outlands Long Lake Resort in Branch last year, but we got a dog and they couldn't accommodate us with a "dog friendly" cabin for the week we scheduled our vacations. I found this place 15 minutes away, and the were dog friendly! Nice clean cabins, and although you are near the road, we all got used to it after the first day. We caught Blue Gill, Large Mouth and Small Mouth Bass right off the dock, and the water was extremely clean and warm for the kids and dog could swim. Great place, the only thing is we're expecting a new grandson next month which will probably put us over the limit of 12 people. Everyone including the kids preferred the privacy this property offered over the "Resort experience" where we stayed last year.

Summary: This was a great property for our families to come together and relax. Enough space for everyone comfortably. The outdoor space with the fire pit, water, yard was great for everyone even the dog. We had a few hiccups but the owner remedied these right away. Only downside was the closeness to US 10. Most of the time it was fine but it could get loud at times. We enjoyed ourselves and would consider renting again.

Summary: Our stay began with no access to the cottage. The owner was great and called for assistance. After a few minute wait, we were able to access the rental. The view of the lake was amazing. Not a great location for fishing during our time here; nothing was biting. The paddle and row boats that were provided were a great extra. The kids enjoyed the paddle boat. Baldwin is an interesting town. They have a delicious ice cream shop. If you plan to get away from noise, this is not the place. US 10 is the backside if the property and the traffic is loud. We still enjoyed sitting down by the lake.

Summary: 2 cottages worked out great for our family and the kids loved being able to walk right into the lake. The road was a little noisy during certain times of the day. Still waiting on deposit to be refunded, shouldn't take this long.
