Welcome to the Dorchester- the still point in a moving world. This apartment is in a prime downtown location within walking distance to breweries, restaurants, and shops. We've tried to think of everything you need while eliminating anything you don't-- from a dining table that converts to a pool table or a ping-pong table, to two King sized beds, our hope is that this space is exactly what you need for your stay in Lynchburg.
ENTRANCE: This is an upstairs apartment with one apartment below it. You'll enter the shared foyer with a customized code, then enter the code again to access your apartment.

-The living room features a sectional, leather chair, and 50" smartTV with wifi.
-The spacious dining table has a top that can be removed to reveal a pool table underneath, or flip the top over and you have a ping pong table.

-Pots, pans, oil, salt, and pepper are provided for you
-Ninja coffee maker with coffee and tea provided for you.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. Property was clean and comfortable. Very convenient to downtown restaurants and Liberty University. Great on-site parking. Only suggestion would be to provide additional linens for multi-day stays. Window coverings in the living room/kitchen area would be a nice add. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: This was a lovely property. It was particularly nice to be in an historic home AND be some close to Downtown. We walked most places and really enjoyed ourselves. While we had a good time, the water pressure was terrible. It was difficult to take a shower and conserve water at the same time; we could not find a non-stick pan to use for our breakfast. Given where we are, it's certainly understandable, but breakfast for 5 from the grocery store is $20. The front room could also use some window coverings. It gets hot in there and while it may not fit the theme of the house, the air conditioner is working a little harder to cool. Overall, a good location and comfortable stay, but with those improvements, it would be even better.

Summary: We loved our stay on Court St. It was clean, quaint, nicely decorated, and LIGHT. I love a light living space. Ceilings are high. It’s an old building with lots of plants and a few fireplaces still there from days of old (not working now). Lots of personality. Right in downtown, so you can get to know the city a little bit. The only reason I have a 4 for accuracy of listing is because the listing said dog friendly. But the information available when we arrived at the place, said dogs were not allowed. However, our circumstances had changed, and we didn’t have our dog with us anyway. So I never clarified. If we do a BNB in Lynchburg again, this is it. (We have been to several others in Lynchburg) The nice 2nd floor living space was very roomy. However, there were no curtains. That’s the only change I recommend.
