Welcome to the Dorchester- the still point in a moving world. This apartment is in a prime downtown location within walking distance to breweries, restaurants, and shops. We've tried to think of everything you need while eliminating anything you don't-- from two parking spots reserved for you to two King sized beds, our hope is that this space is exactly what you need for your stay in Lynchburg.
ENTRANCE: This is a main level apartment with one apartment above it. You'll enter the shared foyer with a customized code, then enter the code again to access your apartment.
OPEN CONCEPT KITCHEN/DINING/LIVING:
-The living room features a leather sectional, swing chair, and 50" smartTV with wifi. (Please note, the TV does not have cable).
-The handcrafted dining table features seating for 6
-The quartz island has 4 barstools for additional seating
-Kitchen has new stainless steel appliances including a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher
-Pots, pans, oil, salt, and pepper are provided for you
-Keurig coffee maker with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, creamer, and sugar provided for you

-A king sized bed with new memory foam mattress

-Twin rolling cot + sheets in closet for additional sleeping

Please note: We do allow dogs for a $50 pet fee, but we ask that they stay off the furniture and are crated if left in the home alone.
Also, there is an upstairs apartment in this unit that is also an Airbnb. No indoor spaces are shared aside from the entry foyer that leads to your private door.

Summary: Don’t miss a stay at the Dorchester apartment! The apartment is just as beautiful as pictured and spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and best of all, communication with the owner is easy and friendly. A coffee in the morning on the little porch in back was great. Court Street is a lovely area and within walking distance of many good restaurants. The riverfront walk is very pleasant. We felt very safe in the area, and the parking right next to the apartment is a big plus in the center of a town.

Summary: The place was comfortable for four adults. Check in was very easy. Great central location to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Roanoke and Bedford. We enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This property worked out great for our trip. It is well located in a quiet part of downtown. In two days I heard zero emergency sirens and traffic is very minimal. Within walking distance of the museum and numerous restaurants. Clean and comfortable for two adult couples who each have a king bed and bathroom, plus a complete kitchen. This place is well worth the cost as compared to a tiny hotel room!

Summary: Very, very cool setup. This is a spacious apartment in an old house. Actually larger than I thought by photos. Sooo much character! Cute back porch and you can walk to downtown easily. I loved it. The only thing that would prevent me from rebooking is the firmness of the beds.
