Positive: Great location. Very little traffic. Lots of walks nearby for the dogs. Well equipped cosy cottage. Loved the toys and game console for grandson. Good places to eat, get takeaway and visit some within walking distance.
Negative: Little difficult with dogs had to make sure bedroom doors were closed to prevent them getting upstairs. Occasionally parking for the second car was a problem. But neither thing impacted on the enjoyment of the holiday.

Positive: Located in a small village about 10 minutes drive from the nearest beach. Some lovely local pubs and a nice quiet location. The host was super friendly and helpful, giving lots of recommendations for places to eat, see and visit, for myself and my two teenage children. The home is lovely and we were very happy for our week away.
Negative: The only downside to the property is the bathroom is downstairs, meaning in the middle of the night it was a walk down and through the house to visit the loo, but this was minor and for a week we didn't mind too much.

Positive: Very handy location in Brading within a 5 minute walk to buses going to either Ryde or Newport where onward connections can be found to other parts of the island. Was able to complete whole of the coastal path in 5 days. Lovely neighbours and within easy walk to Brading Down. Local pubs, shop and fish n chips handy too. TV played up and Lewis travelled from mainland to bring and install a new one catching the 5am ferry to do so. Now that's excellent customer service for you!
Negative: Nothing I didn't like.

Negative: The blinds in the rooms unfortunately didn't keep the early morning sun out so awoke very early.

Positive: Well decorated, considered, appointed house with everything you'll need (even complimentary dog biscuits!). Location is great being an easy walk to a handy train station, vineyard and one of the best fish and chip shops on the island.

Positive: This is a beautifully decorated little cottage. Like home from home, with a well stocked kitchen with lots of crockery. My husband and myself just stayed. The double bed was comfortable and a lovely powerful hot shower too. Useful to have the dishwasher and washing machine with a handy utility with washing lines . The front garden is nice to sit in and a low fence to keep the dog in . The location was good with walks nearby. We walked to Sandown and Shanklin from the property. Lovely park to exercise our dog. The neighbours were helpful and friendly as it is in a row of terraces. Brading village was down the road with a small shop and good restaurants and pubs to choose from. The Hungry Bear and the Yarbridge was excellent. The house was a good base to see all of the island. 2 weeks on the island and we saw most of the coast and it’s attractions. No where is more than 30 minutes away by car from the house. September was fairly quiet and the weather was good. If you like coastal walking and cycling the Isle of Wight is beautiful. Good bus service on the island too.
