This 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home rests on the majestic SW Mich Lakeshore, and has 350 feet of private beach! Wake up to fantastic views of Lake Michigan, play on the sandy beach all day and toast the tremendous sunsets each evening. The home is located in Higman Park, a charming neighborhood on two hilltops with frontage on the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan, just a mile north of St. Joseph and only 90 minutes from Chicago. The second level deck is the perfect place to watch the sun set over Lake Michigan.
This home is well equipped for your beach comforts! Beach chairs, umbrella, toys are supplied. Please bring your own beach towels!
There are 2 grills available! Choose Charcoal or Gas grill for your dining needs!
If you want to take an adventure through the area, you will find 12+ wineries, 26 golf courses, award-winning microbreweries. U-pick farms, children museum and carousel, 3 casinos and numerous music venues. There are so many things to do that you will wish that you had more than a week*.

Summary: We had a wonderful trip. Met some of the neighbors, very friendly. What a lovely area View was absolutely stunning. House very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Loved the cupboards and drawers were labeled. The only negative is that the house needs lots of repairs. I

Summary: We appreciated so much space to spread out!! Big, well-stocked kitchen. Four comfy bedrooms. Great parking. And proximity to the private beach was wow!!! We were up & down the stairs multiple times every day. Already talking about doing the same thing next year!

Summary: We really enjoyed our family weekend here. The neighbors were super friendly and welcoming and the views were amazing. Yes there are stairs going down to the beach, and yes they are steep. But having your own private piece of the waterfront was really nice. The kids loved the water and the waves and we may have decided to quit driving south every summer for the gulf because we just really enjoyed our time here. Thank you!

Summary: The house was great, weather was great, private beach was great, lake was great. 79 steps down to beach -a bit of a challenge for 82 yr. olds- BUT- we did just fine- several trips/day.

Summary: This is a lovely older home in a quiet neighborhood overlooking Lake Michigan with plenty of space for our whole family of 6 to relax and have fun. There is private access to a beautiful beach where we had room to swim, play, have a bonfire and just enjoy the lake. The only drawback is the 79 step, steep stairway down to the beach. But the trip down is definitely worth it! We all enjoyed our time and wished we could have stayed longer.

Summary: Spent four nights in late June 2023. Weather largely did not cooperate but the location was perfect on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Lot of steps down to beach but worth the effort. 5 minutes from downtown St. Joe. Stayed with our two sons, age 15 and 19 and they loved it as well. Large kitchen, comfy beds, lots of space for everyone. We will visit again soon!
