Fall in love with summer in South Haven at this great house with a great location. Walk past three houses and look out over the lake and the lighthouse!
This home offers all of the comforts of your home. We provide bath towels and linens fresh each week and the entire house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. We do ask that you bring your own beach towels and beach chairs.
In 2011, the cottage had a new HVAC installed, providing the house with central air conditioning and a new heater system.
Floor Plan Overview:
This two story home offers a comfortable home base for the ultimate family beach vacation. This first floor consists of one large family room with convertible sleeping, one full bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry facilities and a sun porch.
The second floor has two bedrooms and one bathroom.
Sleeping Arrangements:
Each bedroom is comfortably furnished and has all new bedding. The upstairs master bedroom has a queen size bed and enough room for a crib if desired. The second upstairs bedroom has two full size beds and a view of the lake. The downstairs family room has a sleeper sofa for two. This room has a door and can be closed off for privacy.
The Bathrooms:
Both bathrooms have full showers and tubs. Each bathroom is stocked with clean towels, bathroom tissue, hand soap and shower gel.
The Kitchen and Dining Area:
The kitchen includes an electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. We also provide a coffee maker, blender, and toaster. The kitchen is stocked with everyday china, silverware, cookware, and utensils. Paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags and hand soap are all replenished weekly.
The dining room has a rectangular table that seats up to 8 people.
The Living Room:
The living room has a new 48' LCD television with a DVD player and HD cable. There is a small sun room off of the living room. There is a washer and dryer on the main floor.
The Outside:
The outdoors provides a large deck and nice yard for relaxing. There is a table with chairs and a gas grill for your use.
The driveway is long enough to fit 2-3 cars. Parking on the street is also allowed.

Summary: The Cottage was so welcoming and comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. It feels like a well-loved home with all the cozy touches. A lot of thought was put into making sure there are enough places to sit, hang jackets, tuck sandy shoes, hang towels etc. We slept well and everything was super clean. The kitchen was very well-stocked too. Peter was so helpful and friendly in his communications with us. It made us feel welcome :) The neighborhood is quiet, pretty and very walkable to the beach and into town to catch a boat ride, shop, see a movie or have a meal. The beach is beautiful with soft, clean sand, the lighthouse and, of course, gorgeous Lake Michigan. Sunsets were amazing. And several benches are available alongside the road looking out over the water. For kids, the neighborhood has a park/playground and there is a really nice playground on the beach towards the lighthouse. The town has some great shops and places to eat. South Haven is in a great location to venture to other towns up and down the coast too. We had a lovely, fun and restful vacation. Couldn't ask for more!!

Summary: My husband and I stayed at the Three Sisters Cottage for the weekend of our wedding. Our stay was amazing. We loved being so close to our wedding spot on the beach. We also loved waking up to the sound of waves crashing against each other. This was such an incredible weekend and we loved the hospitality!

Summary: This home was perfect. Our family of 5 has gone on our fair share of trips and this was by far the best one yet. Everything we could think to need was found in this home and the location was excellent. The beach was so close, and with 2 playgrounds and an ice cream shop in walking distance, my kids couldn’t have been happier. The house even included some much needed beach items and a backyard big enough to entertain during the little one’s nap time. We are already looking to book our next home and this house will hopefully be our destination! Thank you again!
