Guests are welcome to the entire indoor and outdoor space. Please avoid the car shed and green tent at the back of the property, as these are just utility spaces. Guests should also stay off the main driveway as this is my neighbor’s property with a driveway easement.
Guests can help themselves to consumables such as available laundry pods, dishwashing pods, miscellaneous soaps, available condiments etc.
There are green towels available for outside use in the spa area, while the white towels in the bathrooms should be left in the house.
Please only use the black metal cups outside. Glass should not be use in the spa area.

During your stay no outside guests are allowed on the property beyond those in included in the booking guest number. The property is only to be accessed by the renting parties. If these rules are broken Airbnb is authorized to charge the renting guest $75/visitor/day in addition to the number of guests on the rental agreement.
The property is not isolated, and loud groups disrupt the neighborhood. It is very important that guests avoid disrupting the local community by limiting noise outside of the house, and around the spa and limiting activity on the shared driveway.

Directions:
The driveway is a right-hand turn off the Sunshine Coast highway traveling from Gibsons to Sechelt (North). Keep an eye out for the driveway 8 seconds past the Canadian Tire.
At night is can be hard to see, however there is a flashing light in the middle of the highway signaling a turning lane which marks the right-hand turn (eg. be ready to turn right at that flashing light.
There is also a long blue flag marking the driveway. The driveway enters the property beneath a large cedar hedge, and between a large cedar fence.
The house is blue with cedar shakes, and it is the first house on the left as you enter the driveway crossing the stone pillars.

What Our Guests say 500 + Reviews

Summary: We enjoyed the accommodations and appreciated the individual unit per couple. The unit could use a deep cleaning, especially in the bathrooms and we struggled with the tap in the kitchen and eventually couldn’t get any water. The kitchen was extremely well outfitted and the outdoor patio and spa area was lovely.

Summary: This was our first VRBO experience and every member of our family (from my 2 years old to my 75 years old mom) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Brendan’s cottage housed our entire family (grandkids to grandparents) for 4 nights. All under one roof but with the right amount of separation we were able to enjoy quality meals together, take breaks in between our days, relax outside on the patio and rest comfortably on our own without disturbing anyone else. It had the comfort of a cozy home and quality finishes of a 5 star hotel. I chose this based on previous reviews and they all held up. We were all constantly in awe of how luxurious and brand new the place felt and looked as well as all of the effort made into the finite details. An excellent set up space made for a quality family fun holiday. Brendan thought of everything. It’s all there. He was also readily accessible if needed as well. Perfectly located and central to so many sights. Loved being able to take walks in different directions and runs on the Davis Bay boardwalk each morning. The only thing that can be improved is the hedges at the end of the driveway. Need to be extra careful when turning out onto the highway as it’s so close by. Other than that, it was perfect - thank you.

Summary: Us two families stayed at Branden's place, the kids enjoyed so much in the yard while parents preparing for dinner. Cute little place is well-equipped with everything we need. Not to mention, the booking process and owner respond time is SUPER! We all walked to Davis Bay one day after dinner to watch the sunset, it was magical. (only 10 min walk) Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation near Sechelt.

Summary: Although we never met Branden in person, he was as a delight to work with from beginning to end. He was quick to respond, accommodating and professional. His place was amazing! Modern, new, clean and had everything we could need. We were on the Sunshine Coast for a wedding so did not spend a lot of time at the place, but when we did we thoroughly enjoyed it. Beds were comfortable, lots of room outside on the private deck and a very modern kitchen with all the nick-Nacks. Very convenient location to get anywhere it was just a bit noisy because you are about 20 feet from the hwy. move this little gem to a quieter location and I would give it 6 out of 5 stars.

Summary: Branden's posting is what we would call a diamond in the rough. So low key that you may probably swipe by it when looking for a place to stay in the Sunshine Coast. But, now that it's got some reviews; it will be no surprise that it will be a sought out. His response time is very quick and offered lots of tips on places to go and even to his "secret" spot called Klein Lake. His place has the amenities, cleanliness, accessibility that a family is looking for. The place is new, spotless and deceivingly cozy. Branden has thought of everything from parking to entertainment with the Apple TV features. Clean, name brand sheets, cool appliances, and a good size BBQ Grill. You just know that he is organized and takes care of his stuff. The place is close to everything. IGA, the beach, Canadian Tire, the beach, Wobbly Canoe, oh and the beach. If you have kids, hike along the creek and visit the hatchery where they can fish trout for $5 and have it for supper. It truly was a great and ultra comfortable experience for a first time visit to the Coast.
