Pool and Spa – Closed for the Season
The Pool and Spa will remain closed and will not open this summer season. Pools are not addressed until Phase 3 of the recovery plan implemented by the State. If everything were to go according to plan the earliest they could open would be the end of June. However, the only information available at this time sets capacity restrictions with stringent cleaning requirements and social distancing. The chlorinated pool water is basically safe. The Board made its decision based on exposure to pool monitors, not being able to ensure the safe cleaning and disinfecting of the restrooms and high touch surfaces throughout the pool area specific to COVID19 requirements. The design of our facilities makes it difficult to maintain proper social distancing - our
showers/bathrooms are long and narrow, the entry way is congested, the spa is small and our pool deck is relatively narrow. With reduced capacity limitations it would be difficult to administer a fair and cost effective means to limit maximum use at any given time.
Relaxation and beauty await you at Hartstene Pointe, a gated community on Hartstene Island. Our spacious custom built home completed May 2008 offers 2400 sq feet of comfort. Whether you want a large family vacation or a quick getaway for 2, our cabin at the Pointe will become a destination you want to return to every year. Situated in a beachfront vacation community with club house, pool, hot tub, tennis courts, gazebo's on the beach and more.There is something for every one to do. The cabin is equipped with 8 mountain bicycles, games , movies and lots of room to relax. The entertainment room is 22 feet by 27 feet and is isolated from the living room to offer peace and quiet while the kids enjoy themselves.
Peace and Quiet at the tip of the Island: Hartstene Pointe is close to Metropolitan areas yet as far away from it all as you can go. The road stops here and so does the noise and hussel bussel of city living. Among the trees deer and other wildlife wonder about without concern for their safety, The posted 15 mph speed limit is patrolled to keep the area safe for hikers and bicyclists young and old.
The cabin is in tune with its surroundings.: The cabin offers a spacious place to kick back and relax. Surrounded by forest of tall Douglas Fir, Cedar and Hemlock the structure views into native Huckelberry and other plantings like, Apple, Plum, Blueberry,
Rhodendrons and more. Get in touch with nature while sitting on the front porch (10x12 feet ) or the rear deck (12x20 )feet or look out any window. Regardless of the season this is all about relaxing be it outdoors or snuggled in front of the gas fireplace.
Hartstene Pointe has a lot to offer.: The Pointe has 3.5 miles of private beach, sheltered picnic areas, tennis courts, basketball, club house, pool and jacuzzi. There are numerous trails to hike or just stroll along the beach.

Summary: When we arrived after a LONG day of air travel it was frustrating to gain access due to gated access & then we discovered we had to make all the beds before sleeping. Ad states sheets provided but isnt clear about making beds on arrival. We had the microwave go out, laundry soap was empty & temp controller needed batteries but property manager was right on it & fixed it all quickly. We had family in the area that came to visit & the gate issue was a bit challenging. Also..Master bedroom was located on second floor with stairs as the access...this was challenging to climb stairs several times a day..ad isnt clear about that either. For older people with back/ knee issues the master bedroom on the 2nd floor isn't ideal. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful area & overall our stay was nice. It is a LONG drive to anything so we spent a large amount of time driving...not what we expected but it was peaceful.worked with us

Summary: This house was great for our group of 8. The house had everything we needed from the kitchen to the laundry to the bikes. Lots of bikes to choose from for all ages and sizes. The only heads up is there is a queen mattress that you can plop down in any spot of the house which wasn’t the most comfortable. But it worked for one of our younger friends. The location of the house is really beautiful.

Summary: This was our third visit to this home, and it was wonderful as always. We had four teens with us, and they enjoyed biking and exploring the beach. There’s plenty of room to spread out and relax. We’ll be back!

Summary: The home has enough space to have a party of about 20 or so people which was the case with our family reunion. A big deck with two round tables and plenty of chairs plus a dining room table that can seat about 8 to 10 people. The bedrooms were spotless, the great room upstairs has a huge sectional couch with recliners at both ends. The LG TV has all the channels and streaming you could ask for. The master bedroom is huge, could use some nice sitting chairs but not necessary. The three bathrooms were very clean, spacious and all the water fixtures worked as they should. There are two refrigerators, one in the garage and one in the kitchen and they worked as they should. Lots of storage for all your food for sure. If we need to in the future we would definitely stay at this house again. We had a fantastic time staying here.

Summary: This house was even more spacious and welcoming than pictured. It was our first time to Harstine Island, and this house is located so nicely close to trails, the beach, yet is very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was incredibly well supplied with every tool we wanted for our meal prep. The large dining room table, living room, patio, and upstairs massive den were all wonderful for hanging out and visiting. We even quickly figured out how to share videos from our phones on the upstairs tv, sharing recent memories like old home movies. There was plenty of space to spread out at night for us all (4 middle-aged sisters) to get our rest, shower in the morning, and reliable Wi-Fi for all. We walked on the trails, on the beach, went to the clubhouse, and enjoyed all the crafts at the farmers market. This area is amazing, and so peaceful since there are no stores or restaurants on the actual island. It reminds me of our youth, when our school had a week long camp on an island at the end of the school year. What an incredible place to make memories. We did not even get around to the garage full of bikes and other items there to soak in the island beauty. This house is so well supplied, I can not recommend it highly enough. We have a couple vacation rentals of our own, and let’s just say I was taking notes - all good - instead of finding any disappointments. We love this house, and the Owners were quite accommodating, which is greatly appreciated!
