Positive: The location was good, not far from the town centre.

Negative: A lot of cobwebs in ceiling corners, with spiders (and babies). Some of the appliances and utensils were not clean and had to be washed before use. Some lights/lamps did not work. Property advised two bathrooms, which was an important decision in choosing the property as we had 9 guests staying. There was a bathroom upstairs (shower door could not be properly which left water on the floor. The second bathroom was actually an outside toilet and a shower in the laundry (also outside). The light wasnt working so it couldnt be used after sunset. The bed configuration was not as advertised.

Summary: Although the house it self was ok. It was not properly advised. Wasnt worth the money.

Positive: Perfect location, very comfy beds. Well equiped house.

Negative: As there was no air conditioner you had to use the 2 fans (one was nearly falling apart). You couldn't leave the balcony door open - as no flyscreen - so was hotter with not much air flow. A can of flyspray would be good too, as spiders, mozzies and cockroaches were about! No handrail on top part of stairs - a bit of a safety issue. One bathroom with soo many beds is not ideal. We only had 4 staying there (which was ok) but I wouldn't have wanted to have all the beds full and try to use the bathroom - The outside toilet is not the best. Despite these comments - which are just feedback - so you can improve for the next visitors - We did enjoy our stay.

Summary: Great location, Nambucca is a lovely spot to visit.

Positive: Very spacious and clean,.plenty of beds

Negative: Broken bath tub tap which we didn't know about until we arrived. We didnt use downstairs shower as in the laundry in separate building. Really need air conditioning. The wheelie bin was very smelly and needs a good clean. Also a screen door to the lovely deck would be good.

Positive: Located in a quiet area, gets nice sea breezes, great in warm weather, well appointed kitchen, lots of space, sea view on the veranda, lots of light , the two beds we used were very comfortable, side tables in the main bedrooms with lamps is nice. Plenty of towels and a bath mat, thank you. Washing machine and dryer, great. Furniture was fine, comfy. The house was clean, 8.5 thank you.

Negative: The house is cold & we live near Canberra. The ONLY heating is a slow combustion fire, however you can delete the slow part, it rages with both flues closed then you boil in the lounge/dining room and still the rest of the house is cold, it burns through the fire wood in no time, really inefficient. There is no other heating! Bathrooms are really cold and need all the old powder- coated fittings changed, the bath was not available for use due to the tap being broken, too bad if you booked to use the bath, half hour job for a plumber, should have been fixed! The shower barely manages to wash off the soap, forget about washing your hair, unless you have an hour. It would also be good if the shower door stayed shut and there is no lock on the bathroom door. Should we mention the 1980s "bidet", well... maybe not. The TV is almost useless, it takes forever to come on, changing channels is so slow, that's if the channel loads at all, few channels do, the remote is also rubbish. Bedrooms have lamps, but we were not happy to have to crawl around to plug them in and there's no easy access to plug in a phone by the bed. The only fans are a few old free standing ones. The washing machine really needs a good clean, it's not clean, nice to have one though.

Summary: Not yet ready to holiday rent.
