This spacious apartment has gorgeous ocean and marsh views from every window. Every room has been renovated. There is a large new bath, new kitchen and wall to wall carpeting. The large bedrooms have fabulous ocean views. You enter from a patio overlooking the tranquil marsh. The family room flows directly into the bright eat in kitchen with all the amenities of home (microwave, coffee maker and toaster). There is a flat screen TV, WiFi , DVD player and a sleep sofa for additional guests (Apartment sleeps 6 very comfortably). The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second a full size bed. There is plenty of room for a cot or portable crib for a small child. It is just steps from the ocean with a Public Way (#2) directly across the street. This is a second floor unit in a two unit home. The opportunity exists for large families or multiple families wishing to vacation together to rent both the first floor and the second floor simultaneously. Summary: It is a lovely place and worked out great. Because my mom is 86 and the stairs were hard; we basically ate take out from A few of the area restaurants, drank wine and played cards. There is a nice view of the ocean from the bedrooms.

Summary: Great stay! Loved have the beach right across the road. Could see the beach out the front and the marsh out the back. Parking is tight, but follow the instructions and you will be fine. Owner was very helpful and communicative!

Summary: The space was perfect for my husband and I, w/ 2 queen beds and a king pull out couch, this space could certainly accommodate more, but we loved the space. Kitchen was fully stocked which we were grateful for. Nothing like falling asleep to the crash of the waves or watch the sunset on the marsh side. Absolutely loved this space and will be back! So close to the beach, short walk down to the gift shops, we couldn’t ask for more. Do make sure you bring your own linens!

Summary: We love the location of this house. We stayed downstairs last year and upstairs this year. We like both apartments but slightly prefer the upstairs for the layout and views (but do really like the sunroom downstairs). It’s so nice to be able to walk across the street to the beach. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, etc. Appliances work. It’s great having laundry available, especially when you have lots of wet beach stuff to dry before going home. And the beach toys, chairs, and boogie boards in the basement are a nice bonus. We’ll for sure be back again.

Summary: We loved the location right across from the beach access path! The apartment was clean and comfortable and the ocean views and sound of the waves at night are amazing! Summary: We stayed for the Wells marathon and it was an ideal location, within walking distance of the start line. The property was as described and the kids loved being across the road from the beach. We didn’t have much time to explore the surrounding area, but it would make a good base for exploring this part of the Maine coast. The host was also very helpful in responding to all of my questions.
