Lewis Smith Lake three story home located on 3+ acres located only 8 miles from I-65, Exit 299! Lewis Smith Lake is ranked the second cleanest lake in the country. Why fight the beach traffic and the sand, when you can decompress in crystal clear, fresh water and catch fish off the boat dock. Let all your senses relax on the three expansive porches which are secluded by woods, wildlife and the lake. This is the place for everyone to relax either in the sun or in the shade. One can never have enough pictures...come make memories that will last a lifetime!
4 bedrooms and 4-1/2 baths, located on three separate floors, afford a sense of quiet privacy for sharing the home with children or guests. Open floor plan with vaulted ceilings on main level. Brazilian Cherry wood floors in the foyer, kitchen and living room with gas fireplace. The downstairs living room is also hardwood. The master bedroom has vaulted ceilings with french doors walking directly onto the porch which affords a sunrise view of the lake.
Master bath includes a jetted tub and separate dual head shower. Two more separate full baths are located on first and third floor. All bathroom floorings are travertine tile.
Because this is the owner's primary home, the kitchen is stocked with full spices and cookware for baking, including crock pots. There are two coffee makers, brew and single cups.
Four tvs offer Directv and Roku (all wireless) and AT&T high speed Internet. ADT monitored security system.
Must be able to climb stairs. There are not any stairs from the house to the dock but the road is rather steep with loose stones (shown in pics). Easily walkable for anyone of average physical ability.
Please note that the closet in the master bedroom is not accessible. But, hey who needs to hang clothes on a lake vacation. There are two closets on the upper level that have space to hang clothes. There is plenty of drawer space for clothes.
There is plenty room for parking. However, the garage and garage shed are not accessible to guests.
All bathrooms are supplied with towels, wash cloths, body wash, toilet paper and hair dryers.
Exquisite kitchen will make it a breeze to prepare a simple snack or a gourmet meal in style. This kitchen is fully outfitted with glassware, dishes, cooking vessels and creative kitchen tools.

Summary: The stay was wonderful. The house is nice. I loved the views to the lake. The only negative is the steep walk to the boat dock and the ladder. It was hard to get out of the water on. Enjoyed the memories made.

Summary: This was a great house for us. We had 3 adult couples. We wanted to be close to I 65, close to Trident Marina, have a place to walk for exercise, a covered boat dock, and a bathroom for each couple. We had a few grandchildren visit, but mostly just the 6 of us. When the kids came we spent lots of time boating, swimming and fishing. We caught lots of fish right off the dock. We brought a lake mat and used the boat ladder to get in and out of the lake. It’s a very quiet neighborhood and there was not much boat traffic in our slew. The upstairs porch has a nice view of the lake and was big enough to stay dry during a rain storm. We did need an ice chest to store drinks because we had so much food in the frig The kids enjoyed catching baby frogs and we saw lots of wildlife- deer, rabbits, hummingbirds, turtles. The path to the lake is just an incline so there are no steps ,but a gravel path. We had no trouble getting up and down and we are in our 60’s. So many things that we loved about this place!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Kimberly’s home. It is very comfortable with everything we needed for a perfect weekend exploring Smith Lake. We had eight adults and never felt crowded. The walk to the boat dock is steep but no one in our group had any problems. Probably easier than some of the houses we saw with many stairs! We took a child’s wagon to help take gear to and from the boat. At the time of our stay, the bedroom downstairs had a blow up mattress rather than a bed. The location is very quiet and secluded. We almost forgot about COVID-19!!
