Summary: We had an absolutely lovely time at Burnbrae Cottage! The cottage itself is great, perfect layout for getting cosy with the fire on while playing board games and catching up with old friends. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well appointed and the hot tub was a great wee treat. Special mention to the owners and the staff at the wee bear café, everyone was so nice and welcoming and the cakes were out of this world!

Summary: We had a great holiday in Burnbrae Cottage. The cottage itself offers very good public / private spaces with the main living area being ideal for the adults whilst the teenagers spent time in the snug. We were lucky enough to have hot and sunny weather with the garden providing an excellent sun trap, with very good patio furniture provided to capitalise on it. The hot tub is a great addition as well with this being well used each night. Highly recommend this cottage.

Summary: Loved our long weekend at the Burnbrae cottage, it was exactly what we were looking for somewhere quiet in the countryside. The house is much bigger than photos justify so was very good all beds very comfortable and the house was clean and utility room was helpful for towels etc. I would say the house needs some updates, the downstairs shower is very poor and I was happy to get home to a powerful shower unfortunately we did not have enough coal for the bbq on our first night so we had to use the oven instead but with only one oven tray it was a task! Loved the indoor log burner (again did run out of wood so was only able to use one night) and the hot tub and outdoor furniture was great and couldn’t fault at all. I would recommend that it states instead of parking for 3 cars available to state that it is street parking as we expected a driveway for the cars than half on the road. Overall the house is great and I would return.
