Summary: This was a great property. Perfect for relaxing and doing some fishing. Not much to do in the town, which was fine for us. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway this is the place. OWNERS: The pecan tree next to the house looks to have a limb laying on the roof. And another limb is about to break off and land on the roof.

Summary: The place was great if your looking to just go fishing and enjoying quality time with family. Quiet neighborhood and the pier was amazing! Well lit except for the small sitting deck before the pier and a a bulb out on one side of pier. However, it did not affect the lighting needed while fishing at night. My mother who sat on sitting deck wasn't able to stay long due to it being dark there. Messaged owner and she was was quick to respond and said she'll have the bulbs replaced. My husband called the pier Gafftop Island, since he was reeling in tons of gafftopsail fish (catfish). He said due to rain runoff the salinity level didn't allow for other fish to be there. The place definitely provided for some relaxation time, though if you're looking for more entertainment such as beach or places to eat. It is limited, a very small town and no beach area. Great for fishing only. I would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We had a Great time & the convenience of having our own lit pier was very helpful for us early risers and late nighters in the group 😉 Only downside would have to be the uncomfortable mattresses, but we will Definitely come back again... just may have to bring my own topper next time..lol

Summary: I do not take pleasure in writing poor reviews but considering the fact that we were charged a sizable housekeeping fee upfront for housecleaning when we did not walk into a clean house was disappointing. Upon walking in the floors appeared clean, beds freshly made but there were several critical areas that were dirty. The refrigerator/freezer both had food in them, the outer fridge area looked like it had never been cleaned, the dish rack was filthy, the bathroom was the also dirty. The counters had some sort of residue, the toilet was dirty, the shower had personal items in it and used! soap on the shelf and the floor of the shower. The towels were threadbare and either dirty and/or stained. There was a side panel window in the living area completely covered in dead bugs. Thankfully we brought our own sheets and towels due to Covid but we left earlier than we had planned because it was not clean.
