Quaint, cozy 2 bedroom cabin just steps from the shore of beautiful Birch Lake in Birchwood, Wisconsin in a small family owned resort.
This updated modern cabin comes equipped with microwave, coffee maker, color TV with cable, Weber grill, and picnic table. We supply bed linens, paper products, hand and dish soap.
Access to Big/Little Birch Lake AND the 2200 acre Lake Chetac is just a few steps from your cabin. A fun, affordable "UpNorth" place to relax. Grab your fishing pole and fish our renowned lakes! Both lakes have an abundance of fish which include bluegills, crappies, perch, northern pike, walleye, and bass. Cabin rental gets you a free place to dock your boat during your stay.
Don't have a boat? No problem, you can rent one of our new fishing pontoons! We also have a fully appointed fish house to clean your catch of the day.
If golfing, hiking or horseback riding is more your thing, we have that in the area as well. Bring your towels and get ready for pure R&R.

Summary: We stayed 5 nights in mid-September and had a fabulous time. The cabin was VERY clean and the location on the lake was great. We caught SO MANY fish off the docks! Our host(s) were very friendly and helpful, and the lake is beautiful. This was a relaxing and fun get-away. Highly recommend.

Summary: We had a short but great time at the cabin. The Mangagment was extremely kind with us even after my dog was barking the entire afternoon. Calling us and very considerate to us. I would enjoy staying again at this cabin. Thanks hank you Shelly for everything and understanding.

Summary: The resort on Birchwood reminded me of the vintage lakeside resort that I remember from my youth. The cabins were immaculate and cozy. We enjoyed our time immensely and look forward to returning again.

Summary: Excellent location in the Birchwood area and on the lake. Small older resort cabin, well maintained, and very clean inside and out. Very nicely decorated and supplied well with useable, essential items. Rick and Shelly were wonderful hosts. My wife was extremely excited about the cleanliness. Boat launch and dock slip worked great for our pontoon. Just a wonderful stay. A return trip is in the future. Thanks!

Summary: I only met Rick who was incredibly helpful and informative. We had lots of fun exploring the lake and fishing. The cabin was cute and cozy with both bedrooms overlooking the lake. Very clean. We ate at a few different nearby restaurants….very good. The cabins are part of a trailer park which took a little away from the ambience (that’s only reason it’s a 4 rather than a 5 overall rating) That being said they sit right on the lake, and each cabin has its own dock. A bargain for the price.

Summary: We had a very nice time at Cabin #3. It is small and cozy cabin just right for the two of us and our dog. The cabin was very clean. The owners were super nice. The fishing for pan fish was good. It was perfect for our early fall getaway.

Summary: What a great time at Echo Bay! Rick and Shelly are wonderful hosts! The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the location could be have been more gorgeous! The fishing was fantastic and the lake was so clean and clear we could watch the fish come to our hooks! The town boasts a couple of great bars and Cafe's as well! A great place to relax and get away from the rat race! We will definitely return!
