Summary: A lovely place with a welcoming and helpful host who lives on site. Rouen is easily accessed with frequent buses. The place is secure and quiet (The church next door only rang its bells on Sunday) with a very pretty garden. The garden can only be accessed up a flight of steps outside so not accessible for all. Everything was as described, although the Internet is not fast. We had a great stay at Janine’s place exploring Rouen and the surrounding area.

Summary: We had 3 lovely nights at Janine's apartment, and Janine was delightful to work with. The apartment was cozy, and it was only a 15 minute drive to the heart of Rouen. It was ideal to be so close to the city, yet in a quiet smaller area. The apartment was very comfortable and furnished nicely, very clean & tidy. We'd love to visit again! Thank you, Janine!

Summary: The property was perfect and ideally situated for frequent visits to Rouene and other beautiful locations in the area. Our host Janine was charming and very accommodating. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. We will definitely return there when next visiting Rouene

Summary: Janine was the perfect hostess and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Darnetal with its easy public transport links to Rouen just 10 minutes by bus from the Marie. The gite was comfortable, well equipped and the quiet garden a wonderfully relaxing place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine upon our return after a busy day sightseeing. Thank you for a lovely stay we would love to return one day.

Summary: Janine Auvray was the perfect host. Une tres gentille dame. The accommodations were very comfortable and I enjoyed sleeping late. It was much nicer to stay near Rouen but not in Rouen. Darnetal est une petite ville pres de Rouen. Since there weren't many restaurants I bought un biftek from Le Boulanger and une baguette and des tomates et from age down the street and made a delicious dinner one evening. Enjoyed dinner in Rouen one day. Would definitely recommend for one or two people.

Summary: Jane is a wonderful person and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures don't do the place justice as it is nicer than we had imagined from the pictures. Our stay was too short but this is a good location to explore the Rouen area.
