You can enjoy a spacious house of 130m2 on 2 levels with the ground floor: an entrance, a living room, a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with walk-in shower, a separate toilet and ' a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a terrace. In the summer season you can enjoy your meals outside with a view of Monkey Mountain.

Summary: This house is perfect. It has all the facilities to stay with a family with (Young) children. The bedrooms are really big, two perfect bathrooms and a grand living. The kitchen is great and fully equiped. There is a really big garden, iDeal to play with children and to use the bbq. From the house iit is a 5 min walk to the Centre where you find beautifull bacteriën, a lovely pub called Le Darwin and other nice things to see. Within 20 minutes you are in Colmar. We really advise everyone to stay here.

Summary: We had an excellent stay in Chatenois and the vacation home. The home was of ample size for the five of us and has a very big backyard for fun time outside. Big kitchen and outdoor BBQ supported our cooking adventures. All is in great shape and recently renovated. Chatenois and the surrounding area is lovely and overall we had a great trip.

Summary: A wonderful stay. The house combines a traditional style with modern features such as large showers and a stylish kitchen. Our teenage children liked having the top floor to themselves with two upstairs bedrooms and a bathroom. We loved sitting on the patio with a glass of the local wine. The house is on a quiet residential street just a short walk into Chatenois for morning bread and pastries. There is also a small supermarket which is even open on Sundays which is rare in France! Larger supermarkets are available at Selestat with a great choice of food so we ate in most evenings, but there are also restaurants in Chatenois and would highly recommend Le Darwin. There is lots to do within half an hour drive, whatever your age. We enjoyed canoeing, high ropes, trips to the zoo, monkey mountain and visits to Colmar and Riquewihr to name a few! There are lots of tourist leaflets in the house and the tourist office in Chatenois is very helpful. We didn't get the Alsace Pass as we found the local Carte D'hote card saved us money on some attractions and also gave us free bus transport to Selestat. Summary: The house is ideal for a family, boulanger is only 500 m away in Chatenois, which is on the “route du vin”. Only 20 mins from Colmar. Already planning our next visit, maybe the Christmas markets😀

Summary: Well furnished, very clean & well equipped house with plenty of outside space. Good private parking. Chatenois is a beautiful large village with boulangeries, cafes, restaurants and shops. It is an ideal location for the Wine Route, castles and other attractions. The Ecomuseum, stork centre, Colmar, butterfly centre etc were easily accessed. The owners were very helpful and the house was in an extremely quiet area. We would highly recommend the property.

Summary: We spent three enjoyable weeks in the 3 Storks house over Christmas and the New Year. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the home was and that the owners had added small touches of Christmas decoration throughout the house. It was very clean, had new modern appliances, great large showers and modern bathrooms, very comfortable beds, and strong, reliable WiFi.....all the things that are so important to a traveler. The house had beautiful views of vineyards, the church and three castle ruins. The house was in a great location in Chatenois, within easy walking distance of the Main Street, restaurants, bakeries and the little grocery store. The home was very private, in a quiet neighborhood, and secure. It is very easy driving in this area of Alsace. Yannick and his sisters were responsive and made sure we had what we needed for the home. For anyone staying longer than a week, a washing machine would have been a nice convenience. 3 Storks is a great house and property——we highly recommend staying here and hope to return..three weeks wasn’t long enough.
