Positive: We liked the property and the location was really good, easy access to the pool and the beach, shops and local restaurants. The property had lots of space and was very clean and had everything you needed (don’t expect too much upon arrival get the basics before you arrive).
Negative: When making the booking we didn’t know it was through a 3rd party, it felt very impersonal, we have always used Airbnb and always like to engage with the owners. Be prepared to purchase the essentials before you get there. You get more given to you in a hotel. I am aware it’s a self catering property but for the money you charge I was expecting maybe a welcome package, the soap was a joke! I would suggest you look at this as I would imagine that a number of your guests travel quite some distance to come to you. The number of emails and waivers you have to sign is ridiculous, I’ve never had to sign so much paperwork! The WiFi is also pretty slow, we struggled numerous times with it and just used our own in the end. I’ve travelled and stayed in hotels and apartments around the world and I have never had a 9am check out! I let it go with a 4pm check in! The house is, yes a beautiful property and has lots of amenities locally, but far too may rules, policies and procedures

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Rise & Shine! The house is fantastic! It’s comfortable, clean, spacious and has a great lay out. It’s on a beautiful cul-de-sac and a 30 sec walk to pool, tennis/pickle ball courts and a few mins to the nature trail. We rode bikes to the beach everyday and we ate our breakfast every morning on the front porch swing! To one side you have Seaside and Watercolor and to the other side you have tons of great restaurants and shops in Seagrove. The bikes were awesome, we used them to go everywhere! You can tell the owners take great pride in their home!
Negative: The location is fantastic but if you’re planning on going to Seaside often, just a heads up that it’s about 2.5 miles away. We rode bikes there daily and really enjoyed it, but we are avid bike riders.
Summary: Perfect family vacation spot! Highly recommended!
