You can get a bird's-eye view of the scenery of Higashiyama in Kyoto including Kiyomizu-temple at a roof in a building.
Daimonjican also be looked around on August 16, and the fantastic atmosphere of Kyoto can be tasted.
A roof is being also opened by time limitation, so please see a superb view in Kyoto.

Summary: The apartment itself is quite spacious with a bathroom, bathtub and shower room, kitchen, living/dining room, bedroom with plenty of closet space and balcony, as well as access to a rooftop terrace with tables, chairs and sink. The apartment is located on a quiet street, but is within walking distance to both the busy city streets of Kyoto as well as the peaceful temple areas. What really makes this place special however is the host, Sumi, who made sure we were well taken care of even prior to arrival with plenty of important need to know information including directions to the apartment in Japanese to provide to the taxi driver. We were greeted by her and provided a tour of the apartment as well as numerous maps and information regarding both the immediate neighborhood and greater Kyoto. She even provided transportation to the train station on our last day. If this is your first trip to Japan and you are a little anxious about being in an unfamiliar environment, Sumi and this apartment will help you feel at ease and at home!

Summary: Sumi the delightful host was so helpful during the whole booking process and then explained everything when we eventually arrived and she was there to greet us. Everything was clean and well catered for. The clothes washing and drying facilities were extensive. Sumi emailed to see if we needed anymore help. At the end of our stay she drove us to where we had to go. Thank you Sumi. We will hopefully come again.

Summary: This property was beautiful. It was clean, in a perfect location (I was able to walk to many locations and it was close to transit), was very well equipped, and Sumi was a perfect host. I will definitely return to this property. Sumi provided a great deal of information about Kyoto and was quick to respond to any questions I had.

Summary: What Sumi lacked in Her knowledge of English was more than made up for with the helpful labels throughout the apartment. Although a little more than “3 minutes from the station”, the location is great with easy access to transportation, restaurants and local sites. I’m glad I stayed there for the length of time I did to be able to explore the area well , as well as to learn to navigate my way throughout Kyoto. A wonderful stay

Summary: This condo was greatly equiped for a good vacation. Fridge, stove, great location right in the middle of all the attractions, close to metro,bus, walkable distance to amazing history! Absolutely lovely! Great view of the city from the roof top. The host was very kind and sweet! Loved it! Will come back!
