Summary: We ,from Ohio, met with family from Virginia to celebrate my nephew s graduation. The house and the setting are beautiful. It was perfect for our adventure and will likely become our favorite place to meet and visit . The whole experience was great! Hope to do it again soon.

Summary: We were there for our granddaughter’s wedding at Adaland Mansion. This was a convenient location for traveling to and from the event. The house was beautifully decorated and very roomy for a large family. Everything was clean and comfortable. The rain kept us from enjoying the outdoors but there was lots of room for outdoor sitting and grilling. Sherry is an exceptionally good host. I would recommend the riverfront home to anyone traveling to that area.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay although the weather did not allow us to fully enjoy all the property had to offer. The house is large enough for multiple families. The beds were very comfy. If you have any early risers in your group, they should be on the first floor as every step taken upstairs is heard thru the entire house and the stairs are very loud. The kitchen is well equipped as was everything in the house from extra blankets, towels and detergent for laundry.

Summary: Highly recommend this home especially for a large family get-together. We had 4 couples plus a 3yr old and 3mo old. The large open area between the kitchen, dining room and living room worked great for meals, games and crafts! We sang camp songs around the campfire. Took fun group photos. Climbed on rocks in the river. Great place!

Summary: We were very pleased with how spacious the house was. The kitchen, dining room, living room, and both front porch and back porches were very open and great places for a large family to hang out. We loved the rocks and the river across the road. There are lots of good parks nearby, but we found ourselves spending more time at the house, and the river in front than we anticipated. It was a pleasant surprise!
