Summary: This was a super relaxing break, viewing Cuan Sound and all it’s human and animal activity from a comfortable deck, coffee in hand. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped. The site was quiet and perfectly situated. We were 4 (larger) adults and the single beds were on the small side and the bedrooms were teeny tiny so we needed to store cases and stuff in the car but that was really a very slight inconvenience. There’s not a whole lot to see on the Island but you can hop on the ferry (ably overseen by Skye the ferry dog) and explore Seil and beyond. Great holiday, we’ll be back!

Summary: This is our second stay at Sunnybrae and, again, it didn’t disappoint! The lodge was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Mike & Jenn always pop by and check everything is ok and then are just there if you need anything. The island is spectacular - particularly so in the glorious weather we were lucky to have! We have no hesitation in recommending Sunnybrae for the perfect holiday to totally relax and re-charge.

Summary: Great lodge and a view to die for! Only thing I would change is a small freezer as the ice box in the fridge is limiting as the shops are a ferry and a few miles away. Have booked again for next year!

Summary: This is the Second time we have stayed over New Year at SunnyBrae. The location is beautiful so peaceful and quiet with everything changing views. The lodge was different to our previous one but still immaculate and so comfortable everything is supplied The beds are excellent and gas heating on timer so always toasty and water hot . Mike is an excellent host he keeps in touch regards your booking ,welcomes you and let’s you do your own thing for the break. Thanks Again !

Summary: From the instant I started the booking process with Mike, I knew Sunnybrae was somewhere we would feel welcome. He couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The situation and orientation of the vans provides a beautiful outlook from each one and allows for easy otter and dolphin spotting - both of which we were delighted to see. Gunnera was very clean for our arrival and was equipped with everything we needed. It is a peaceful site with many walks, long and not so long, available from your doorstep. The 360 degree views from the trig points are amazing. There are many interesting and picturesque places to visit in the surrounding area if you want to leave Luing and explore but we loved the peace and quiet and slow pace of Luing so much that we didn’t feel the need to venture off the island very much. We found the folks in the local shop very friendly and the Atlantic centre is well worth a visit. Lovely local crafts and great food too, all served by very welcoming and friendly staff. I have no hesitation in recommending a holiday here.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay as usual, this being our 3rd holiday at Sunnybrae. Mike and Jen are there if you need them, otherwise leave you alone to get on with your holiday. We stayed in one of the lodges this time which was great, nice and cosy and as always, very clean. We had a lovely and relaxing stay but with plenty of walking. The Atlantic Centre is a must visit for food, the cakes are delightful and the staff are lovely. We saw plenty of wildlife while out and about and Otters on 2 separate occasions. We can't wait to go back!
