4 Bedroom Cottage in Hurricane

A 116 year-old intriguing pioneer home with beautiful pecan trees close to Zion National park, within walking and biking distance to restaurants. Have a seat on old-time rocking chairs on the quiet porch with amazing fresh pecans from trees in front yard. Nutcrackers provided! There’s a free community splash pad for kids 1 block away right next to a historical museum. A community pool 8 blocks away. Tuacahn center for the Arts is 35 minutes away in Ivins. The house has a spacious pull through an enclosed back area with a beautiful view of the mountain. Tons of off street parking space. The kitchen and the 2 baths have been fully remodeled. It's clean and comfortable. On the first floor, there is a living room, a kitchen, a full bath and 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. On the 2nd floor, there is a family room with a television, a ROKU box with a Netflix and HULU subscription, and a bath and 2 bedrooms, both with a queen bed each. The family room has a large chair and sofa
with a recliner. You may bring sleeping bags or additional bedding. There is a port-a-crib in the upstairs closet. The kitchen is stocked with dishes (service for 10), pots and pans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, mixer, blender, crockpot, toaster, waffle iron, dishwasher, and microwave. Plenty of room to park several RVs, boats, trailers, ATVs, etc behind a large secured fence. World-Class Mountain Bike trails and ATV trails close by. Zions National Park, with Kolob canyon, The Narrows, Angels Landing is only 20 minutes away. Two boating and fishing Reservoirs within 10 miles. One is Sand Hollow State Park with world class Off Road ATV riding and with swimming, boating, and fishing. Lots to do while visiting the hurricane house. Check-in is 4:00 pm on the date of arrival and check-out is 11:00 am on date of departure.
The St. George area is a sports mecca hosting 5th largest Marathon in the country and by far the most scenic. The Huntsman Senior Games with 10,000 athletes from around the world and also hosts the worlds largest Softball tournament with over 340 teams. The IRONMAN 70.3 US pro Championships brings 2,800 athletes. Also the Red Bull Rampage, a cliff riding downhill mountain bike event shown on ESPN is held between Hurricane and St George. The NJCAA College World Series Softball tournament is held at a Softball complex in St. George.

Summary: Perfect property for exploring Zion. Short, easy and scenic drive to the park. Property has been renovated. Loved that there were 4 queen beds. Lots of space in the house. Nice cool AC. Washer and Dryer were a big plus for us and worked great. Older house but well taken care of. Owner was attentive to our needs and feedback. Would stay again!

Summary: We enjoyed the cozy home we stayed at in Hurricane Utah as it was convenient to all the National & State parks we wanted to visit! Then at night after a long day we’d relax on the front porch and stargaze!! The views from the Home were incredible!! The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us to each have a bedroom!!! The home was very clean! We loved it & totally enjoyed our stay! The wonders never cease to amaze you in Utah!!! ❤️

Summary: The property was good. However the layout of the property was unusual. There are 4 bedrooms but you have to go through bedrooms to get to the bathrooms from 2 of the bedrooms. Not ideal for 4 adults but great location and clean.

Summary: House is very old (which is not a bad thing) but is mostly updated. We enjoyed reading the history of the house and previous owners. Had everything we needed there. The host is great and answered any questions we had before going. The Netflix is outdated and the Hulu wouldn't come on because it was so outdated but that was the only thing bad to say about our stay which really wasnt that big of a deal anyways unless youre just renting this house to sit around and watch tv. Zion National Park was close by and we highly recommend it if you stay here. House has a huge driveway and back yard to pull through or turn around if you bring atv's and/or trailers. Definitely recommend staying here.

Summary: The property is accessible to nearby tourist destinations like Bryce and Zion. The house was equipped with a basic needs for our 5-day stay. I would just like to suggest that trash bins should be labeled properly which one is for recycling and for trash. Overall, the place was nice and clean.
