Positive: How the animals would come up to the windows every morning, turkeys, hens, peacocks, with their babies and peek in lol! It was hysterical! And Joon and Fernando?!! Oh my. BEST hosts we’ve ever met in our entire lives! Fernando even made us dinner reservations one evening. What host does that?! Always pleasant and smiling and the breakfast?!!! SPECTACULAR! WE CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK! WE MISS YOU JOON AND FERNANDO! 4 Casitas will be seeing us again, guaranteed!
Negative: There was absolutely zero to complain about. ZERO.
Summary: Most breathtaking, peaceful, spiritual place I’ve ever stayed. Heaven on earth!

Negative: Location meant that you had to travel if you wished to eat out in the evening. Driving at night could be daunting !

Positive: Gorgeous view from the breakfast room, great room with full kitchen. Very unique accommodations with pool.
Negative: This is a farm with turkeys and a peacock that can be loud with the open windows. It would not deter me from staying here again though.

Positive: We stayed at 4 Casitas for two nights in Cabo Rojo. Fernando and Soonjeong were really welcoming at our check in. The property is located on their sustainable farm, there are turkeys, pigs, chickens, a horse, and even a peacock. Fernando spent some time showing us around Villa 3, and the various features and amenities. The villa itself is beautifully designed with thoughtful features and a comfortable amount of space. Please keep in mind there’s no A/C but there’s a fair amount of cross breeze with the Velcro screens and doors left open. However, this does leave the possibility of bugs getting in so we did endure some bug bites. The peacock and a rooster did contribute to being woken up throughout the night, light sleepers should take note. The shower drained well and the bathroom was roomy enough. The beds were all comfortable. I loved that they let use reusable water bottles during our stay and also provided beach chairs and towels. The breakfasts were really a highlight as you get to sit on the beautiful patio overlooking their gorgeous garden and the mountains in the distance. We had amazing vegan pancakes with passion fruit one morning, that still were one of my favorite meals of our trip. 4 Casitas is about a 15-20 minute drive from the beach and restaurants. We feel lucky that we got to experience such a special property.
