Summary: The Villa is of a great size we had 11 people with us and there was plenty of room, the pool and football table and inside pool are all great and were used frequently throughout our stay. The Villa is located in a very small village, be aware you will have to travel for the French croissants and fresh bread each day as there are no shops in the village. Whilst the rooms are large the beds could make this holiday exceptional if they were more comfortable and with classic cotton bedding. The bed my husband and I had was a small double with an uncomfortable mattress and terry towel stretch sheet which was quite nasty. One of the other beds mattress was particularly bad as the person sleeping on it was sleeping around the springs and the other double bed had plastic sheeting under the top sheet. Again with a few touches like fluffy white towels and enough for each person staying, a handle on the door of the washing machine (so that you don’t have to use a knife to shut and open the door) this Villa could be exceptional. On a side note the other family we shared with had to wait 10 days for the damage deposit refund and that was after a call to Home Away who sent an email, text message and a message direct from myself all to the owner. He also doesn’t speak any English so I’d like our group your French isn’t great communication is a little difficult.
