Positive: Good location, near the Zoo
Negative: The bed was really dusty. Things seemed clean, it’s just nobody checked it so it’s quite dusty. The heat radiator is controlled by the building so it gets quite hot and it’s inconvenient and doesn’t feel as secured to open up the windows when we were on the first floor of the building.

Positive: The location of the property was beyond our expectations. Without knowing we were emerged into the “Dogtown” Irish community. There were several restaurants within walking distance of our location. We were even able to walk to the zoo and save on parking. The zoo was approximately a 15 min walk.
Negative: I would suggest that anyone hot natured look elsewhere. The entire unit is cooled by a 110 window a/c unit located in the front room. It was reasonable for our stay in May but I can’t imagine what it would be like in the hot months. There were times in the evening I was sweating but it cooled once the sun set. Also, the hardwood floors are noisy in our particular unit and we could hear the individuals above us throughout the night. That’s a give with this historic building though.
Summary: Overall, our stay was memorable. We enjoyed what St. Louis had to offer. Our location was the best part as our trip was

Positive: *Location was great! Close to everything. Loved being in Dogtown- we were able to hit up a few irish pubs, my favorite! *As a breastfeeding mother on a trip without the kids- I needed somewhere that could accommodate washing my pump parts, so being able to do that in an actual kitchen was great. *Bed was super comfy *It was hot at first, but man that little window AC unit sure works! Was able to cool off the unit pretty quick! *It had a quaint & typical city charm, with it's uneven quirky floors, big kitchen, when you open the door you open it straight to the bedroom (studio style), smelled good in there, and was clean inside. *Great place for young couples/single persons to stay! *Host was great about responding to messages
Negative: *Parking garage: Would be a good idea to give people a heads up on how low and small this parking garage is. My 2016 Dodge Caravan barely fit and if someone parked in a space behind/across- there's no way I would have gotten out. SUVs/Trucks may find it a super tight squeeze as well if they could get in. *dirty hallways, when we arrived there were used Q-tips, crumbled up paper, and other bits of garbage on/around our door *main entrance to hallway lock wasn't working properly- you could push open the door without using the keypad code. (Our actual door to our space worked/locked!) *no fire alarms in this unit- not up to code, did someone remove them all..? There was also a knocked over can of cigarettes (lots of them)outside the back door. It had a carbon monoxide detector though! *We were given the wrong internet/wifi code to connect too and were given the wrong password originally & sat there for awhile upset after being out all night and trying to figure out why the internet said disconnected. After messaging the host after hours- they got back to us luckily and gave us the correct info! Thankful for that!

Positive: The apartment felt very relaxing, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location was close to restaurants, entertainment, and quick access to the highway.
Negative: We drove 13 hours from Norfolk,VA, on the day of arrival and had 13 more to drive the next day. We really needed some rest. When we arrived, it was peaceful and quiet, we were really looking forward to getting rest, and then the occupants of the apt across from us and above us entered the building being loud, slamming doors coming in and out of the building not respecting the quiet time rules.

Positive: The location was great, the unit was very cute and cozy
Negative: The property management company failed to send me check in procedures before I arrived. After a day of travel my phone battery was very low. I had to walk to a nearby restaurant to plug in and contact the company. A very rude voice answered the phone. When I informed him I could not get into the unit, he snorted, "Why not?" and then "I sent you info with no reply from you, but I will send it again." He did not resend the info -- I checked email, text, and the booking app. I had to book and pay for an additional room at a different hotel. I was able to get into the unit the next day, but only after many emails asking for the info.
Summary: Unit was awesome, but checking in was very frustrating and the property management people are rude.

Positive: Location was perfect for my needs. Apartment was well furnished and decorated. I didn’t need/ use the kitchen but it was a nice size and seemed to have what might be needed. Very comfortable.
Negative: Building neighbors were noisy but this was on a Friday/Saturday night. Older building so stairwell noise was loud. Also building front door was propped open when I arrived. I did have parking garage code but chose to park on street as it was not easy to turn around in garage. Wished I had not pulled into garage and just parked on street from beginning.
Summary: Enjoyed the location, space and ease of check in and out.
