Positive: Great location practically on USL campus. 20 minute walk to grocery store and to metro station Cortex. Super convenient for all major attractions by metro and a walk to campus. Property has great character. Quiet safe area.
Negative: Experienced a power outage during stay. Praise to Manager who was super efficient to arrange repairs quickly.

Negative: Did not realize parking and check in WERE NOT on site but at 'sister's property.....got the code via app but might not have chosen this place if I had realized prior to booking.

Positive: The size was perfect. The bed was amazing. Could have used a better bathroom. Location was great.
Negative: Could have used a better bathroom. Had to squat to see in the mirror and wash hair in the shower. No elevator was a huge. A walking map and a guest check-in each day would have been nice. Did not see a single staff member while there.

Positive: Not too many stairs to get into the building. Stayed on the 1st floor apartment. Very clean.
Negative: Just one blanket in the apartment and not enough towels for 2 nights. Street parking is about $5/2hours. The free parking is far for senior citizens. Luckily I got a scooter that was close to the parking lot. But it as drizzling frozen rain . It would be nice if they could contract with the Moolah garage next door.

Positive: The staff were excellent and handled a couple issues promptly. Very roomy place and bed was comfortable. Full kitchen with dining table was nice. Good remodeling on an old historic building.
Negative: The location was safe and near the university but it wasn’t close to any good restaurants. I was walking and only fast food restaurants were nearby. The bathroom fan made a very loud noise and WiFi wasn’t working but staff addressed these issues the next day. I think the price was a little bit steep considering the area. I think you are paying for a little more space than a typical hotel room.

Negative: Bed was noisy and very soft. Not enough dishes for two people. Took three tries before our payment went through, and so had to spend money on out-of-country roaming charges to sort things out.
