Negative: A bit grubby e.g. fridge & chairs in sitting room Folder left for guests implied that guests are expected to give the house a clean before they leave & directed guests to cleaning products. While I would clear up any mess & leave property tidy I don’t expect to hoover, dust, mop floors, thoroughly clean bathroom etc. I expect properties to be thoroughly cleaned between stays. I think cleaning costs should be included as part of price of property.

Positive: Location was excellent. My wife passed away 5 weeks ago and needed to get away somewhere quiet and good for bus service to other locations and couldn't have been better. Lovely sat at side of river and canal 6 o'clock in morning having a coffee. Fish and chip shop was excellent value for money.
Negative: Only 2 pubs in village and all fully booked for meals. Other than that nothing else.

Positive: The cottage was in the heart of the village. 50 yards from the pub, co op and the chip shop. Very comfortable cosy cottage.
Negative: The log burner could have been operational

Positive: The cottage was beautiful, the only thing o found was the stairs very steep, I got up during my first night went down the stairs misjudged as the bannister stopped two steps short and I fell really hurt my arm which was black the next day, it made me very nervous the rest of the holiday
Negative: The steep stairs, as the bannister was 2 steps to short my arm still is black from my fall which spoilt my holiday
