Lake 'n Logs Description
This large log home has six bedrooms, 4 & 1/2 baths and can sleep up to 14 people. There is a short (150 steps) to a shared dock where you can tie up your boat on our quiet cove. Grill out on our large deck, and enjoy the fire-pit for evening sing-a-longs. The dock is shared with Cabin on the Cove, just walk over and get to know the other guests and coordinate the use.
Plenty of parking for trailers or toy haulers on our two acre property. If you need more room, the house next door is Cabin on the Cove. We also own it. (VacationRentals #7006901). Rent them both for a great family reunion. We do not know of any similar adjacent two properties on Kentucky Lake. Rent them both and have a family reunion. Up to 25 people total, ten bedrooms and 8 & 1/2 baths! Moors Resort is just 1.5 miles away where you can rent jet skis, ski boats, pontoons, and fishing boats.
Our lower parking area has a nema 14-50 outlet, with a 50 amp capacity. You can easily charge your Tesla or other electric vehicle.
Jane and I stay on this property for all of August, so we keep it clean and well maintained. We are on site for 5 months of the year, so any questions you may have we are usually available.

Summary: We rented both this cabin and the cabin next door from Tim. From the get go Tim was very friendly and communication was excellent. House is as advertised and then some. Pictures don't do the view justice. We loved our stay here and hope to be back!

Summary: Tim was an exceptional host and he and his wife are very friendly. They have a small apartment in the property, he greeted everyone as we arrived and offered to help us unload and with anything else we needed while staying. The cabin was amazing, they have done a wonderful job with it and had plenty of room to accommodate our large group. The views of the lake were great. We will definitely be back!

Summary: Unfortunately the tornado hit the cabin we were staying in and destroyed it. All of the family was safe without any major injuries. We only stayed one evening.

Summary: The rental process and interaction with the owner was very easy. You can tell the owner really cares about the property and wants you to enjoy your stay. The cabin is a large 5 bedroom. There is a short walk to the dock. A well stocked convenience store is only a mile down the road. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This was a very clean and well taken care of cabin on Kentucky Lake. We had a private dock to keep our rented pontoon. Tim was very nice and easy to get ahold of. We loved every minute of our stay.

Summary: We really enjoyed the uniqueness of this log home. Special features included the basement "game room" area, the decks, and the screened sun room with hanging chairs. Our entire group was impressed with the accommodations. Thank you Tim for this opportunity!

Summary: This was a great property and beautiful log cabin. It was very clean and we enjoyed all the cool facts on the items around the home. For example, the story behind the coffee table or the stories in the aviation room. It had plenty of room for our family. We had brought plastic bowls, plates and utensils but didn’t use bc the kitchen was fully stocked. Kentucky lake was such a cool area to be around and plenty to do within 20 minutes of the home including hiking, marinas, parks, markets, mini golf, go carts, small zoo. Highly recommend for your family vacation!
