Positive: Great house...well equipped and beautifully presented. Ground floor smells a little musty, it would have been lovely to have limiters on the ground floor windows to have been able to leave the windows at night. The hosts went beyond the call of duty to resolve a problem we had. Top marks.

Positive: Stylish, comfortable, well equipped (lots of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery).

Negative: Very , very minor; No number on the back gate. Key box behind the back gate when it’s open so you don’t see it as you walk through the gate from the car. This would be tricky in the dark.

Summary: Sandbanks, Poole, Purbeck have lots of points of interest making for an interesting holiday from a perfect base.
